encouraging networking, mentorship and

ELLE Wine & Cheese
Title Sponsorship Available

The 13th Annual “Excellence of Leadership and Legacy in Entrepreneurship”
(ELLE) Wine and Cheese will be held in November 9, 2010. At this prestigious
event, both students and professionals will have the opportunity to network with
one another and, more importantly, celebrate the journey to success of Canada’s
top female executives. While commemorating the success of top Canadian
business entrepreneurs, ELLE also presents the opportunity for over 150 students
and professionals to interact and share ideas.

This year, The Entrepreneurs' Club is proud to welcome Cathy Noonan. Cathy
joined Molson on July 19, 1999, as Vice-President Supply Chain Management,
and in November 2002 was promoted to Senior Vice President Global Costs for
Molson Inc. Following the merger of Molson and Coors in 2005 she has held a
number of senior positions, namely Global Chief Synergies Officer, Chief
Procurement Officer and Global Chief Shared Services Officer. In July 2009 Cathy
assumed her current role as Chief Supply Chain Officer for Molson Coors
Canada.
Business Dinner
The “Toast to Success” Business Dinner is the largest professional networking
event offered by The Entrepreneurs’ Club. Recognized as one of the largest and
most prestigious professional event at the Telfer School of Management, the
Business Dinner focuses on celebrating entrepreneurial success in today’s global
economy.
The 200 students and professionals in attendance each year enjoy impressive
displays of hard work, passion and accomplishment in the night’s festivities. The
Business Dinner begins with a beautiful reception, silent auction (with proceeds
benefiting a featured charity) and quality networking. The main portion of the
night includes an exquisite four course meal and inspiring speech from the event’s
keynote speaker.

 Celebrating 20 Years
 Meal Sponsor: Enterprise Rent-a-Car
The Entrepreneurs’ Club is excited to celebrate 20 years of the “Toast to Success”
Business Dinner in 2011. This historic event welcomes back past executive
members, long-time supporters of the club, as well as keynote speakers of years
past. In 2011, The Entrepreneurs’ Club is honoured to have Terry Matthews
featured in a panel discussion along side Ottawa’s top technology CEO’s.

When: Thursday, January 27, 2011 Where: The Westin Ottawa
 Elevator Pitch
 Presented by CMA Ontario

The term "elevator pitch" is an analogy
for being able to convince someone that
your idea, or yourself, is worth investing
in, using the amount of time it would
take to reach your floor while riding in
an elevator.

This student-favourite event takes place
each March and gives both students
from the University of Ottawa and
Carleton University the opportunity to
pitch their business venture to a panel
of judges and Telfer School of
Management audience members. The
student that is best able to impress the
judges will receive the grand prize, in
what is sure to be a fierce competition!

 Entrepreneurship Resources
The Entrepreneurs’ Club is also committed to helping support the launch of
student-initiatives. Working with organizations like the Telfer Career Centre
and the OCRI Entrepreneurship Center, the club aims to help aspiring
entrepreneurs become the business leaders of tomorrow.

Entrepreneurship also exists directly inside the Entrepreneurs’ Club! A number
of students within the club have and are currently running very successful
ventures of their own. Executives often engage in peer-to-peer consultations:
sharing experiences, offering advice, and building lasting professional
relationships.
