What is physical activity and
why do you need it in your
life?
  Physical activity is any activity
   that causes your body to work
   harder than normal. Physical
   activity does not need to be
   strenuous to achieve health
   benefits.
  Men and women of all ages
   benefit from a moderate
   amount of daily physical
   activity (for example: 30
   minutes of brisk walking or 15
   minutes of jogging).
  Physical activity improves
   quality of life.

What Qualifies as Physical
Activity?
    Walking                        Clean your house
    Jump Rope                      Get outside and play in
    Roller Skate/Blade              the dirt. Cut the grass!
    Swim
    Ride your Bike                 Wash and wax the family
    Dance! Learn to Dance.          car.
                                    Do anything that gets
                                     you up and moving, and
                                     most importantly, HAVE
                                     FUN!
