Registration is now open for the winter session of Lunch and
Learn Spanish. The 10-week session will start the week of            2nd Grade – Kitchen Fun

 We couldn’t do it without you!
We delivered 86 birthday bags last week to the
People’s Resource Center. What a generous
outpouring! The children who go to the food
pantry and receive a bag will be truly delighted.
 We also had several bags of food to donate as
well, so thank you, Washington families! And a
huge thank you to Susan Goonan and Student
Council for your time and energy in
coordinating this week.

          PTA EXECUTIVE BOARD
             OPEN POSITIONS
         FOR THE 2012-2013 YEAR
The following positions will be available on the
Washington School PTA Executive Board during the
2012-13 school year:

       1. Secretary
       Records and distributes PTA meeting minutes, prepares any required correspondence, updates the
       PTA bulletin board, updates archive binders, and other various duties as needed including
       newsletter submissions and attendance at PTA meetings and Exec Board meetings.



       2. Vice President of Programs
       Oversees the individual Committee Chairpersons involving PTA recreation and enrichment
       programs, which include Art Smart, Battle of the Books, Birthday Lunches, Cultural Arts, Science
       Enrichment, Health & Safety, Field Day, Lunch and Learn, Reflections, Mileage Club, Room Parents
       & Staff Appreciation, and other various duties as needed including newsletter submissions and
       attendance at PTA meetings and Exec Board meetings.


A Nominating Committee has been formed to seek interested and qualified candidates. Please contact
