									                     Application for Senior Pastor
                    Cedar Valley Baptist Church

INTRODUCTION:
Cedar valley Baptist Church (CVBC) is in the process of searching for
a new pastor. Copies of our Church Profile and Church History are
provided along with this application to give all applicants an
understanding of our church, our beliefs and its ministries.

In addition please closely review the additional document called the
Pastor Profile. It is a summation of the characteristics and qualities
desired in our next pastor based upon responses to a church
questionnaire distributed to the membership by the Pastor Search
Committee.

If after reading the Pastor Profile you feel that your calling, your gifts,
beliefs and interests fulfill the needs we have as a congregation, we
would encourage you to complete the Job Application for Senior
Pastor. Please submit it by email (please attach it as a Microsoft
Word document) plus mail it to:

Sandra White, Secretary of the Pastor Search Committee.
Email: sandrawhite1221@gmail.com
Regular mail: P.O. Box 502 Bastrop, Texas 78602

If you have a resume prepared, we would be glad to receive that also
by both mail and email. Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of the
job application. Please complete the job application so that we have
equivalent information from every applicant. The information
provided in the application will be used during the initial screening to
determine which applicants will be considered further for calls, oral
interviews and possible visits. Your thorough and complete answers
will help us tremendously as we seek God’s will during this vital
search for our next pastor.

Thank you for your interest in CVBC.
Sincerely,

                                     1
