                          Core Strategy
                 From Options to Preferred Options

The table in this report relates the Core Strategy Options to the Core Strategy
Preferred Options and draws upon:

 The Core Strategy Options Report (June 2005)
 The Sustainability Appraisal Report of the Core Strategy Options (May
     2005)*
 The Report on public consultation responses to the Core Strategy
     Options (October 2005)

These three documents are publicly available and can be viewed on the
Council’s LDF Web site.

*It will be noted that some of the Preferred Options are derived from Options
which were assessed as “unsustainable”. The Preferred Options are more
specific about sustainability issues and have since been subject to
independent sustainability appraisal; this appraisal is also publicly available
and can be viewed on the Council’s Web site.
