          DNV Certifies DelStar Technologies, Inc. – El Cajon, CA Plant to ISO 9001:2000


EL CAJON, CA (May 5, 2006) – DelStar Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce the ISO
9001:2000 certification of their El Cajon, California facility.

According to Det Norske Veritas Certification, Inc., DelStar Technologies meets the new ISO
9001:2000 certification requirements. By achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification, DelStar
Technologies demonstrates its commitment to quality for the design, manufacturing, and
distribution of their Coretec™ precision machined thermoplastic and stainless steel parts.

With this achievement, DelStar Technologies has joined the ranks of its worldwide customer base,
many of whom also maintain ISO certification. Reaching the high standard of ISO 9001:2000
certification will provide a tremendous benefit to both DelStar Technologies and its customers’
operations. DelStar Technologies’ commitment to continuous quality improvement is now a
documented, controlled and measured standard that will undoubtedly support the company’s rapid
growth across their diverse customer base.

In accepting the registration certificate, Mark Abrahams, President and CEO of DelStar
