					MarineProvider re-launches website

Oslo, Norway – March 2001 – MarineProvider AS, the secure and neutral Internet-based e-
procurement community for the maritime industry, has launched a new version of its website.
The website, www.marineprovider.com, offers background information on the company,
recent and archival news, press releases, event schedules, contact information, employment
opportunities and a detailed description of MarineProvider's services. It includes links to
MarineProvider’s strategic partners, MarineTrans, OceanConnect, Marline and SpecTec. The
new site is a part of the total solutions package that MarineProvider offers its customers.
A new and exciting addition to the website is that customers can now gain immediate and
direct access to MarineProvider’s Exchange (password required). “The challenge of
managing commercial relationships is a formidable one’, Collin Lewis, CEO of MarineProvider
said. Add to that the complexity of the sourcing process, and you will find that establishing the
right sourcing strategy to identify the best possible supplier can be difficult and time
consuming, especially in today’s global economy. MarineProvider’s Exchange bridges the gap
between the buyers and supplier from around the world for any purchase of spare parts or
provisions. Global collaboration between buyers and suppliers on our secure Exchange helps
to manage contracts, to improve relationships and to locate those goods and services
necessary to run your business faster and more efficiently - from anywhere in the world”.
“We have all heard of Customer Relationship Management solutions “CRM” – Why should we
not have a Supplier Relationship Management solution “SRM”? Surely the suppliers are just
as critical as the customer in order to succeed. This, I believe, is the message that e-
Marketplaces have been struggling to put over and is very much a focus of the
MarineProvider Exchange”, Lewis adds.
The website has been designed to reflect MarineProvider’s vision and to help unify the
organisation and the new corporate branding.
MarineProvider is headquartered in Oslo and is listed on the OTC list in Norway.
MarineProvider has offices in the US, The Netherlands, and Hong Kong, and has partnership
agreements with third-party supply chain, credit and insurance companies as well as other
complementary marketplaces worldwide. MarineProvider is positioned to become the marine
industry’s leading web-based Exchange for the procurement of bunkers, spare parts,
equipment, provisions and other related services.

SpecTec To Earn Equity Stake in MarineProvider

Oslo, Norway – March 2001 - MarineProvider AS has signed an agreement with the
SpecTec Group, the leading provider of fleet management systems, to integrate SpecTec’s
AMOS systems with Marine Provider’s e-commerce solution in the maritime B2B industry.
The e-commerce solution will seamlessly integrate the AMOS onboard procurement software
with MarineProvider’s Exchange, enabling shipowners and operators to handle their
procurement on-line.

Paul Ashton, who has recently been appointed VP Maritime for the merged Station
12/SpecTec Group, said: "We see this agreement as a strong recognition of our AMOS
product range and in particular the strength of our integrated on-board and centralised
requisitioning and purchasing systems. With more ships using SpecTec software than any
other AMOS is already being recognised as the standard onboard requisition tool and the
agreement with MarineProvider will contribute to this.

Ashton added: "With the release of AMOS M&P version 4.2, generic portal driver functionality
in our e-commerce module will be in place using the MTML format. However, MarineProvider
required a much deeper integration than the standard interface and we look forward to
cooperate on this exciting development. We consider the agreement with MarineProvider to
be a route to give better functionality to our customers and an opportunity to grow our
business”.

Collin Lewis, CEO of MarineProvider, added: "We are delighted that SpecTec has shown its
confidence in our technology and business model and has taken an equity stake in
MarineProvider – we see this relationship as a way to serve the needs of our clients, and we
view this new partnership as a way of rapidly expanding our product capabilities to a growing
global customer base".

SpecTec is the world’s leading provider of marine fleet management systems and services.
Their AMOS systems have been installed on over 7,000 vessels and cover maintenance,
inventory, purchasing, voyage operations, crewing and payroll, communications, ISM and
quality management.

MarineProvider is headquartered in Oslo and is listed on the Oslo OTC stock exchange in
Norway. MarineProvider has offices in the US, The Netherlands, and Hong Kong, and has
partnership agreements with third-party supply chain, credit and insurance companies and
other complementary marketplaces worldwide. MarineProvider is positioned to become the
marine industry’s leading web-based Exchange for the procurement of bunkers, spare parts,
equipment, provisions and related services.

has
been designed primarily for the SOLAS mariner (ship use).

2. Ship to shore communications - Once the product is installed,
vessels will need to contact their Admiralty Chart Agent /

Tradiant Becomes GT Nexus, Launches Integrated Products
                      and Services
Carriers Crowley, CSAV and Wan Hai Join GT Nexus in World’s Largest Ocean
                     Transportation Technology Partnership

ALAMEDA, Calif., APRIL 2, 2001 – Tradiant, the leading provider of Internet
technology for the global transportation industry, is now GT Nexus. GT Nexus brings
together a technology leader and some of the world’s largest ocean carriers in a
unique partnership. Formerly code-named GTN, the partnership is dedicated to
simplifying and standardizing the complex processes of global transportation. Today,
GT Nexus launches its solutions connecting customers with all partner carriers.

“The new name was chosen to emphasize the global nature of our business and the
connections we build to link partners across the industry, securely and confidentially,”
said Aaron Sasson, Chairman and CEO of GT Nexus.

In other news, three additional carriers – Crowley Liner Services, CSAV and Wan Hai
– have joined the nine announced in December 2000, collectively providing access to
over a quarter of the global ocean container market through GT Nexus. The nine
carriers announced earlier are APL, CP Ships, Hanjin, Hyundai, K Line, Mitsui O.S.K.
Lines, Senator Lines, Yang Ming and Zim Israel Navigation Company. The carriers
collectively own a minority equity stake in GT Nexus.
"Customers want simpler ways to do business with their service providers," said the
carriers. "GT Nexus brings together a winning combination of leading technology and
broad industry commitment to address this primary customer need. The addition of
three new carrier partners in about as many months reflects the growing momentum
behind this initiative from the carrier community.”

ITOCHU Corporation, a Fortune Global 10 company, announced separately today
their deployment of GT Nexus planning solutions through a pilot program within
ITOCHU Express, their American subsidiary.

Two Product Lines for Transportation Planning and Execution
GT Nexus also announced today two broad product lines addressing transportation planning
and execution, the Global Planning Series™ and the Global Execution Series™.

The Global Planning Series addresses the lifecycle of transportation planning for large
importers and exporters worldwide. Modules in the series include:

 News and Information – Provides real-time decision support through industry news,
sailing schedules, regulatory guides, maps, currency tables and more
 Rates – Streamlines the rate request and response process
 Contracts – Enables collaboration between shippers and their service
providers to manage their contracts online and track amendments and mutual
      commitments
 Forecasts – Optimizes planning efforts by streamlining the creation and
distribution of cargo forecasts across commodities, shipping lanes and carriers
 Allocations – Ensures optimal freight distribution across providers, in full
      compliance with active contracts

The Global Execution Series simplifies and standardizes, across multiple service
providers, the transactional processes involved in the movement of containerized
freight from origin to destination. Execution modules include:

 Booking – Provides a single interface to support the submission, modification,
      confirmation and cancellation of bookings
 Documentation – Streamlines the creation and management of bills of lading (BLs)
      and other trade-related documents
 Visibility – Provides real-time shipment tracking and status information
 Reports – Enables performance reporting and analysis across all execution
      processes

Industry’s First Integrated Suite of Products
Seamless integration with back-office systems is a core element in the company’s
overall deployment strategy. Today, GT Nexus announced Global-Connect™, GT
Nexus’ application-to-application integration engine. With sophisticated multi-
messaging capabilities that support both EDI and XML, Global-Connect links the
legacy systems of individual participants to the universal, Internet-based systems of
GT Nexus. One connection guarantees linkages with all connected partners,
automatically.

Product Availability
The Global Planning Series has been available to customers since Q4, 2000. The Global
Execution Series will be available starting today through a controlled launch to select
customers. This is the first instance of execution capabilities within the industry that are
integrated with the back-office systems of providers. All the twelve carrier partners are
connected and participating in the controlled launch. General availability of the Global
Execution Series is expected in late Q2, 2001.
