   Redesigned organic linking strategy to move the site to Page 1, position 1 (from
    page 3) against key search terms including ‘watches’ and ‘watch’

   Identified inefficiencies in hosting and bandwidth costs. I sourced new suppliers
    specified requirments and negotiated new contract saving the business over
    £90,000 per annum

   Redesigned the ecommerce site and project managed delivery

   Launched email marketing campaign

   Set up backlinking strategy.

   Redesigned and ran PPC / Adwords campaign

   Established social media profiles and platforms – Blogs, Facebook, YouTube,
    Twitter

   Negotiated new hosting and technical specifications for site redesign

   Redesigned and schedules press advertising (for 12 retail stores nationwide)

   Launched dedicated Pandora Jewellery store in Birmingham’s Bullring


Creative Thing Ltd: Owner / Director
2004 – 2009

   Set up the company to apply some of the ergonomic principles of product and
    systems design to communications design. Achievements include:

   Originating the strategy and delivering the online communications for ACID (Anti
    Copying In Design), including html newsletters, an online news-room and an
    ecommerce store.

   Redesigning Gloucestershire County Council’s Registration Services printed
    communications.

   Managing the MOD public consultation communications for the redevelopment of
    Catterick camp providing over 350,000 people with a clear picture of
    environmental and economic implications.

   Creating the strategy and web interface for Tourism Tasmania’s online presence.
    The video and photo-sharing site and community campaign led to more tourists
    than visiting Tasmania from Europe and mainland Australia than ever before.

   Other projects include; Pfizer, Staffordshire County Council; Royal Navy Blog.
Marlborough Stirling plc: Head of Design
1999 – 2004

   Key part of the management team that took the company to the market and
    increased turnover from £20Million to over £200Million.

   Researched, designed and delivered the interface to the mortgage element of
    Egg.com. The innovative design delivered a level of intuitive operation and was
    responsible for Egg.com becoming the largest provider of online mortgages in
    the UK.

   Bank of Scotland credit card and online loan microsite strategy, design and
    delivery. Developed to provide Bank of Scotland loans and credit card services
    through other brands such as Manchester United, Hertz and Sony. The design
    was instrumental in the project achieving its twelve month target for take-up and
    revenue in under three months.

   Website Design and online membership area for SonyCard site and loyalty
    incentive. The site led to the greatest take-up of Bank of Scotland partnership
    credit cards in the UK.

   Design of First Mutual Intranet providing the company with a seamless transition
    between key commercial functions with internal processes and software. The
    site was awarded the Revolution Magazine Award for New Media Marketing for
    Best Use of Intranet or Extranet in the UK’s premier online awards. And the
    CSSA UK Technology Award for the Insurance and Financial Services Sector


BP: Global Intranet Project Manager
1997 – 1998

   Briefing, developing, managing and delivering strategy and solutions on the
    world’s largest and most sophisticated intranet. I was brought in to provide a
    more entrepreneurial approach to the management of this internal asset.

   Saved BP over $9Million by eradicating duplicated activity on the intranet and
    combing the individual budgets from each distinct part of the business into a
    single larger operational budget. Thereby, delivering a single, organized and
    coordinated ‘super-computer’.

   Improved the development and quality of the intranet functions and design by
    opening up the project to external contractors. This introduced competitive
    pricing and allowed access to broader skills

   Reduced the cost and disruption to business through a program to replace
    expensive global conferences with smaller moratoria accommodating online
    broadcasting and online delegate involvement.

   I originated and delivered the ‘Einstein’ intranet site whereby BP could match
    personal development, career path and skills acquisition to emerging
    technologies.
