Motion of the house:
"This house believes that one should bet
 on the jockey and not the horse"

EVENT FORMAT
Each speaker will be allotted time to speak for the motion as well
as against the motion. The speaker also needs to answer the
interjections.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. This is an individual event and not a team event.
2. Max. Two entries per college.
3. Time allotted to each speaker: 90 sec. For the motion + 90 sec.
  Against the motion + 60 sec. For concluding
4. Negative marking for exceeding time limit
5. Two interjections allowed per speaker
6. No cross questioning

EVENT FORMAT
Participants after registration will go through the following
rounds.
- Round 1: Drafting a display advertisement for the given
  product. (prelims)
- Round 2: Enactment of the Commercial

Prelims:
All the teams will be given a similar product on which they have to
draft a display advertisement using an A4 size sheet. They have
to give a unique name to the product, also mentioning its
distinctive features and using various illustrations. The ad should
look attractive. The teams will be judged on the basis of their
creativity, imagination and presentation. Only 15minutes will be
given for the same.


Only 5 teams will compete with each other in the final
round.

Final round:
The teams will be given some erratic and different products on
which they have to prepare a 3 minute advertisement and enact it
as well. For the preparation, 20 MINUTES would be given to each
team.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1) Team Size: 3-5 participants.
2) On the spot registrations WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
3) Cross-College teams ARE NOT ALLOWED.
4) For the prelims, ONLY A4 SHEETS WOULD BE PROVIDED.
   Rest of the stationary like pencil, colours will have to be
   brought by the team.
5) Only 15 minutes will be given to prepare the display ad. For the
   preparation of the 3 minute ad in the final round, it is 20
   minutes.
6) Duration of the act in the final round cannot exceed 3
   MINUTES.
7) Each team will be assigned a different product in the final
   round, which will be selected by drawing lots. The teams are
   supposed to think of a NAME FOR THEIR PRODUCT AND A
   TAGLINE
8)Different forms of expression like jingles, slogans, banners or
  any other innovative form can be used. No musical instruments
  are allowed.
9)The act should be COMPULSORILY be based on the principles
   of marketing..
10)Judges’ decision will be FINAL AND BINDING.
11)CAUTION should be taken not to display OBSCENITY,
   VIOLENCE, PREJUDICE, DEFAMATION etc. in
  Advertisement.

                 STREET ART (Graffiti)
In your childhood, you might have designed art/graffiti as per
your imaginations of your baby mind. You’ve expanded and so, does
your Imaginations. Street Art is a competitive graff art event
that provides you with opportunity to showcase your artistic
imaginations on canvas/paper wall. The theme will be provided “on
the spot”.
EVENT FORMAT
Participants after registration need to create the following:

-   a Graffiti
-   a 1-2 minutes presentation that best defines your creation



RULES AND REGULATIONS
1) The maximum number of members in a crew shall be three.
2) Cross-college participants are allowed.
3) The theme will be provided by the organizer “on the spot”.
4) Time limit- 1hour.
5) Canvas/wall will be provided by the organizer.
6) Participants are required to bring their own colors, water
   paints, markers, brushes, and other required materials.
7) Participants will be judged on their concept and lettering,
   colors, originality and technique.

EVENT FORMAT AND RULES
1.Maximum of 4 teams per College allowed to sit in SCREENING
  round,2 members per team.
2.The quiz will be held in two stages viz. The SCREENING and
   The MAINS

SCREENING ROUND:

  1. 20 questions of +5 and -1 marks will be projected on Screen,
     30 Seconds will be given for writing the answer to each
     question.
  2. The Teams will be divided into two groups of equal size, the
     top 3 Scorers from each group, winner of online contest & a
     lucky loser will be selected for the MAINS.

MAINS ROUND:

  1. 8 teams qualifying from the SCREENING stage will be a
     part of the MAINS.
  2. The teams will be seated in order of their scores and will be
     given Unique Team Names.
  3. Teams have an option to choose from 9 topics available to
     them on the grid, each team to answer 1 question in each
     round on the same theme.
  4. All but last will be passing rounds, with an option to the
     answering team to pass on the question to a team of its
     choice, for split points.
  5. 2 marbles for each correct answer,1 marble(s) each for split
     answer, no penalties.
  6. Last round will be a 60 second Rapid fire round with a max.
     of 10 questions.
  7. The team with maximum marbles at the end of the round
     Wins!
  7. In case of a TIE, a 10 pointer questionnaire will decide the
     Winner.

And of course, the marbles are yours to keep! :)

EVENT FORMAT AND RULES
The Game will be played in two stages-
-Preliminary
-Finals
Prelims:
 Participating teams will be given Rs.10,00,000 virtual money for
Trades.

  1.The teams will register themselves on virtual environment of
     Marketwatch website created by the IMPRINTS 2012 OC
     and play the game till March 16,2012 4.00 PM. Any number
     of teams can participate from a College. Maximum two
     people per team for Finals.
  2.Top 10 Teams with the highest Portfolio values will be
    intimated through Mail,Messages etc. to come and Play the
    final round of STOP LOSS.

Finals:
Teams will be given Rs. 1,00,000/- virtual money for trades in
first 3 rounds.

  1. The finals will be played on the format of Badla System or
     Auctioneering. There will be 6 rounds.
  2.In the first 3 rounds, 12 scrips will be traded on the bourses.
  3.Maximum of 6 scrips can be held in a portfolio.
  4.From rounds 4 to 6 only shares to be sold will be auctioned.
  5.Buyers can only auction for stocks available from the market.
  6.Shorting is allowed in first 3 rounds.
 7.After 6 rounds, teams with Maximum profit or least loss will
   be adjudged winners.
 8.In case of a TIE, team with a higher ranking in prelims will
   be declared winner.

EVENT FORMAT

BOLLYWOOD movies then this competition is just for YOU.

PRELIMS:
Teams will be given Bollywood couples and they need to guess the
movie. No negative marking. Right answer gives you one mark
For eg;Sharukh+Kajol

Final Quiz:
The final Filmy Chakkar will be consisting of three rounds-
1.Pehchaan Kaun-Song will be played teams need to guess the
  movie.
2.Hum Tum aur Sawaal-The teams will be given the lead couple
  and situation of a song,the teams needs to guess the movie as
  well as the song or the question asked
3.Filmo ka Shenshah-The teams will be shown clips and will be
   asked questions related to it.

1.Each team should consist of two players.

EVENT FORMAT
The purpose of the game is to check the individual’s knowledge
about business and economics. There will be logos of various
companies. The punch line would be announced and the
participants have to cross the respective logo of the company.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1.There wil be an individual entry.
2.There can be unlimited participants from each college.
3.Each participant have to pay Rs30 for it.
4.There will be 2 corners, one line each i.e top, middle and
bottom.
5.There will be two houses.
6.The prize money would be given on the first come first basis.
7.If there is a tie then the prize money would be divided.

EVENT FORMAT AND RULES
1. The theme for the competition is "street entrepreneurs"
2. Maximum of 2 photos to be given in printed size of 8*10
3. No editing would be allowed in photographs, only minimal post
processing shall be allowed. Any kind of editing would lead to the
disqualification of the entries
4. The last date of submitting photographs is 19th march 2012
5. The entries will be displayed in the college premises on 21st
march 2012
6.The decision of judges will be final and binding.
