What You Will Learn?
By the end of this workshop you will:
• understand how IRS fits into the incursion response process
• understand the technology used in IRS
• know the end to end response process and understand the GIS
  processes
• know how to Geocode places
• verify and complete zone data
• complete procedures that provide input into other groups processes
• understand what a vector management frame is and how to digitise one
• prepare the data for field visits
• complete GIS Plants procedures, and
• understand the procedures the IRS Administrator completes in ArcMap to
  setup a Response database.

            IRS GIS 2
Knowledge Checks
• Are not designed to Pass or Fail you!
• Make sure you have understood what you have
learned before moving on to the next module.
• You can refer to your reference material (processes
and procedures) if you need to.
• If you haven’t achieved 100% accuracy, I’ll provide
some help before we move on to the next topic.

What Are Plumes?

                   • A Plume is a graphical
                     depiction of the spread of
                     the disease, contributed
                     by wind direction and
