The Kenton County School District Education Celebration - “Live Your Dream” will be
held January 6-22, 2011

Fort Wright, KY—The Kenton County School District will turn the spotlight on itself during
Education Celebration “Live Your Dream”, January 6-22, 2011. This year’s sponsors are
Coldwell Banker West Shell, Cincinnati Ballet, the Covington Arts Club, Duke Energy, Chick-
fil-A, Success Academy, Florence Freedom, and Texas Roadhouse.

Education Celebration is strategically placed in a time of the year when people are making
resolutions and thinking about their dreams. What better time to invite the community to
our schools to watch students demonstrate how they are achieving their dreams through their
education. Education Celebration is also scheduled during Martin Luther King Junior's birthday
in order to pay tribute to his legacy and to bring attention to his "live the dream" approach to life.
This year’s tribute celebrates the district’s business partners with an appreciation breakfast and
student performance by Scott drama students entitled, “Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”

The two-week extravaganza will showcase student dreams in an array of music and dance
concerts, academic tournaments, art shows, and sports competitions January 6-22, 2011.
The public is invited to our schools to view the exciting day to day education activities taking
place in our schools every day.
