Note: Dr. Kalsbeek will teach the portion of the course related to finite sampling
designs.

Text: Biostatistics: A Methodology for the Health Sciences; Van Belle, Fisher, Heagerty,
Lumley; Second edition

Course co-requisites: (i) BIOS 150 or BIOS 160, and (ii) BIOS 111

Grading: Homework 20%; Exams: 80%
All homework must be completed and turned in on time. Late homework will be counted
as zero and will not be graded. The homework assignments can be discussed with your
classmates, but the work turned in must be your own. Copying someone else’s
homework is an Honor Code violation. The exams will be take-home and it is an
Honor Code violation to receive any assistance on a take home exam.
