Board Meeting
October 2, 2008

In attendance: Rick Elliott, Dane Merkel, Joyce Bouchard, Tom Clemons, Mark
Thompson, Bob Passut, Tom Anwyll, Parker Roach, Charles Osborn, Mac Squires,
Michelle Shircliff, Jim Pendergast, Marcia Pape, Jim Watson, Tex Hunt

Meeting was called to order at 8:00

A presentation was given by Tim Duggan of TC Sports. They specialize in photography
for sports teams.

Request to amend Meeting Minutes, by Dane Merkel, to remove commentary by Tex
Hunt, was voted, I believe unanimously, and past. Minutes adopted.

Finance – Jeff was not able to attend. Marcia summarized; Taxes need to be completed
for 2006 as well as 2007. Tax Exemption is contingent upon filing of tax returns.
Concern over single financial institution having deposits totaling more than FDIC
coverage of $100, 000.00.

Sports:

Baseball – 2 Travel Teams this year. Had professionals helping train this past season
with very good response.

Basketball – Select tryouts going on at this time. Should have 15 to 16 teams.

Football – 25 teams. At mid season. Several make up games due to weather.

Rec Soccer – Need another night on Turf field for make up games due to weather.

Travel Soccer - Same need of another night on Turf field for make up games due to
weather.

Softball – CRS enforcing “out of county fee” of $25.50 per player. Tournament fees to
remain the same. County is pushing “Team Embracement”, “Get the adults/parents
envolved”. Softball has two tournaments a year and will move to 3 tournaments in 2009.
Still looking for Softball Commissioner.

Volleyball – November start date. The club is expanding in U16’s. Volleyball would
like to have 2 tournaments in 2009.

Communications - Having trouble contacting Webmaster.
Fields – Mac requested copies of all “Fields Requests and designations for past 5 years
from each sport”.

Other business – Conflict of Interest needs to be discussed and updated.
Competition Cheer – not in attendance
By December meeting, all budgets for 2009 need to be presented to be approved.
Request for Jeff to provide “boiler plate” budget form for all to use.
Find out who is Commissioner of Football.
Mac asked for Bob Fitzpatrick’s contact info.
