      VICTIM OR VICTOR—IT’S YOUR CHOICE!
I. POSITIONAL VICTORY VS. EXPERIENTIAL VICTORY
         A. Victory—a 3 fold perspective: past, present & future
                1. I have the victory 1Jn 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes
the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our
faith. Faith is the conduit that connects us to our victory that Jesus has
                         won for us.
Jn 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have
peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I
                         have overcome the world."
Rv 3:21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My
throne, as I also over came and sat down with My Father on His
                         throne.
1Jn 2:14 I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong,
and the word of God abides in you, And you have over come the
                         wicked one.
1Jn 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have over come them,
because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. NKJV
                2. I must appropriate the victory today.
Ro 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through
                         Him who loved us. NKJV
1Jn 5:5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that
Jesus is the Son of God?
Rv 21:7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his
God and he shall be My son.
Col 4:17 And say to Archippus, "Take heed to the ministry which you
have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it."
                3. I will not have the victory totally until heaven.
1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this
mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the
saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." "O Death,
where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" The sting of
death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God,
who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
We will not have the victory over death until we get to heaven and get our
                        incorruptible bodies.
      B. Walking daily in personal victory I think we would all agree that Jesus has the
victory and that we have that victory also—position ally but the real struggle is how
do we take our positional victory and make it personal experientially. 1Jn 5:4 For
whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has
overcome the world — our faith. It will take your faith to experience a personal
victory. What you focus on is what you worship and what you worship is what you
will become. Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever
things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any
virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things.

surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight,
and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the
race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our
faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising

IV. VICTORS FINISH THE RACE
      A. Take Heed! Col 4:17 And say to Archippus, "Take heed to the ministry which
you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it."
      B. Keep your eyes on Jesus! 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our
faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross
      C. Be faithful!
Rv 17:14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome
them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him
            are called, chosen, and faithful."
      D. Continue to worship!
                 Praising
                 Singing
                 Instruments
                 Dancing
                 Uplifted hands
                 Shouting
                 Laughing
                 Marching and walking
                 Clapping
 Hissing and whistling Job 27:23 Men shall clap their hands at him,
And shall hiss him out of his place. (Zech 10:8,9)
                 Keeping silence

                 Tithing
                 Fasting
 Praying the blood of Jesus

A victor is a worshipper and a worshipper is a victor! You
are more than victorious in Christ and you are called to
worship the Lord with all of your heart, mind, soul and
strength. Joshua and Caleb, who are of a different spirit,
were worshippers as David was and Paul and Silas sitting in
a prison cell after being beaten. Worship will break any
attack of the enemy and any work of your flesh. Do not be
lukewarm in this hour but be HOT for God!!
