I am currently double majoring in sociology and psychology at
UCSD. They are both in social science fields and are somehow
closely related. I’m pretty interested in these two majors and
hopefully I will learn a lot in this field in the future.




Sociology2 - a branch of the social sciences. It is an effort
to use systematic methods of empirical investigation and
critical analysis to develop a body of knowledge about human
social activity. Its subject matter ranges from the micro level of
face-to-face interaction to the macro level of whole political bodies, economic regimes, or even world
systems. Historically, sociology has paid special emphasis to modern, industrialized societies.



Psychology - an academic and applied science involving the                                                social sciences comprise
scientific study of mental functions and behavior. Psychologists                                          academic disciplines concerned with
study such phenomena as perception, cognition, emotion,                                                   the study of the social life of human
personality, behavior, and interpersonal relationships.                                                   groups and individuals including
