As founder of Sunray Seven my vision is to help leaders build their ‘Resilience’. Our
work with those facing change and uncertainty develops their confidence and

Sunray 7 Key Achievements:
Interserve – Executive Boards
We designed and delivered a team development programme for the top 10 executive
boards in Interserve. The programme linked individual, team and business performance
elements and participants feedback indicates that it has considerably improved the
leadership performance of those teams with whom we have worked.
Unilever - Finance Academy
We worked with the Director of the Finance Academy and Head of Leadership to design
and deliver an innovative programme for Finance directors. The result was a set of
modules that interwove technical sessions with the behavioural requirements needed for
finance leaders to deliver the required change; our behavioural sessions included
Leading Change, Decision Making Under Uncertainty and the use of Myers Briggs in
innovative and advanced applications. In addition I had responsibility for coordinating
and coaching the performance coaches working on the programme.
Orange Technical – Leading Change Programmes (2004 – Present)
We have been working with Orange Group for the past four years designing and
delivering programmes centered on ‘change’ (Thriving, Managing and Leading in
Change). The courses have been particularly successful, helping individuals and teams
cope with a high degree of complexity in their working environments. In 2006 we worked
with the leadership of Orange IT and Networks, designing and delivering 33
programmes to 228 line managers and the Senior Leadership Team.
Director UK Graduate Schools Programme – Careers Research Advisory Centre
Annually I direct a 5 day programme for up to 100 PhD students in their final year of
study. Sponsored by the research councils of the UK, students work in facilitated teams.
As director I design and manage the programme to the research council’s requirements,
coach the team of 7 – 10 tutors to deliver ‘success’ for their teams and review each
course with the intention of sharing learning with other directors in order to continuously
improve the standard.
PINKOSTRA (Director) – Leading Change Consultancy Apr 02 – Sep 06
My role was to design and deliver training programmes and consultancy work that
specialised in incorporating tools and techniques such as Myers Briggs, FIRO Human
Elements and Pinkostra’s own tools in highly innovative and pragmatic ways.

Arcadia (Belfast) – One to one executive coaching.
Group 4 Falc - Work as an associate with clients including The Cabinet Office and
Miebach Logistics - Work on an associate basis to develop and implement material
for new People and Operations Centre. Clients included: Oxford Radcliffe Health
Trust, and Sandvik Hard Materials.
Vision Development Training Ltd - Work with clients to develop personal and team
effectiveness and to resolve client issues by using high and low ropes facilities.

Training Manager and vocational assessor for young people working in the fields of
Warehousing, Management, Training and Development, Sport and Recreation, and

Last two positions held:
Logistics Team Manager (1995 – 97) I led a team of 21 people who were responsible
for the worldwide logistics support of major overseas exercises (these exercises
comprised of up to 600 people). I negotiated contracts to the value of £100,000,
prepared detailed operational and logistic plans and managed the careers and welfare of
Stores Manager United Nations Angola (April – August 1995) I had responsibility for
establishing a warehouse and distribution system of some 500 line items in support of
five contributing nations, negotiated and monitored a local food contract for personnel
from a wide range of countries, led detailed logistic reconnaissance to two separate
locations under highly demanding conditions and had responsibility for the welfare and
personal development of 30 personnel.
