IT IS COMPULSORY FOR ALL STUDENTS AT TRINITY BAY STATE HIGH SCHOOL TO WEAR THE CORRECT AND FULL
SCHOOL UNIFORM EACH DAY.

The Parents and Citizen’s Association has resolved that it supports a compulsory student dress code policy for Trinity Bay State High
School because it believes that this policy promotes the objectives of the Education Act 1989, and in particular that it:

 Promotes a safe environment for learning by enabling ready identification of students and non-students of the school
 Promotes an effective teaching and learning environment by eliminating the distraction of competition in dress and
         fashion at the school
 Promotes a supportive environment at the school by fostering a sense of belonging and
 Fosters mutual respect among individuals at the school by minimizing visible evidence of economic, class or social
         difference.

The School Council of Trinity Bay State High School also endorses the student dress policy.

For these reasons all students are expected to wear the correct school uniform on each school day. The wearing of the school
uniform is enforced by the School’s Responsible Behaviour Plan and students should be well presented at all times. Parents and
care givers are asked to ensure that all students wear the approved uniform. Variations to the uniform code, is only at the
Principal’s discretion.
