									                        Careers are available domestically and abroad!




                         The Haenicke Institute for Global Education, in cooperation with the Global and International

                         Student Organization, is hosting a visit by Mr. James Ellickson-Brown, Diplomat in Residence

                         from the United States Department of State, to present an overview of internship and

                         career opportunities with the Department of State as well as information about the

                         Foreign Service Officer Test (FSOT) which will be given in February.

Mr. Ellickson-Brown is a 25 year veteran Foreign Service Officer and has served in six countries; Cyprus, Greece, Haiti,

Indonesia, Malaysia and Norway. Mr. Ellickson-Brown also speaks nine languages and lists his most interesting career

moment as “assisting foreign journalists in covering the U.S. presidential election process, from Iowa and New Hampshire

through the conventions and debates up to election night.”
