Parent Helpers Needed…………….

Can you give a couple of hours of your time each week to work in our school library?
We would like to re-introduce regular Library times for all classes and to operate a
lending Library for children but we need some volunteer Librarians. You will need to
be disclosure cleared and able to offer your time on a regular basis. We would like to
open the School Library at the following times and would be grateful for offers of help
in two hour time slots:

Library opening times:

Monday 9.45 – 11.45am 1.15 – 3.15pm

Wednesday 1.15 – 3.15pm

Friday 9.45 – 11.45am 1.15 – 3.15pm

If you are able to help please e-mail snicol@educ.somerset.gov.uk or reply in writing
via the school office.

Disclosure application can be obtained from the school office and clearance obtained
for parents or carers who wish to help in school during the school day.

Strike Action

You will probably be aware from the media that unions are balloting public sector
workers on the possibility of taking strike action on Wednesday 30th November. The
strike has not yet been confirmed but as soon as we have any further information we
will contact parents and carers immediately.
