Ministry of Commerce of the P. R. China, State Administration of Taxation, State Administration
for Industry and Commerce, State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, China National
Tourism Administration, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, All-China
Federation of Industry & Commerce, China Federation of Industrial Economics, the People’s
Governments of Shanxi Province, Anhui Province, Jiangxi Province, Henan Province, Hubei
Province, and Hunan Province. The first session and second session have been held respectively
on September 26-28, 2006 in Changsha, Hunan province and April 26-28, 2007 in Zhengzhou,
Henan province.

Central China is an animation and comic exposition at global level organized by Ministry of
Commerce of the P.R. China and undertaken by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and
Export of Machinery and Electronic Products.
In the spirit of stepping up the development of our Anime & Comic industrialization and
expanding the investment, trade and exchange between Chinese Anime & Comic industry and the
overseas counterparts, the Ministry of Commerce has entrusted China Chamber of Commerce for
Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) to organize this project with
many elements taken into account in order to guarantee the complete achievements of the
expected goals. Based on the rich successful experience of the second session of International
Anime & Comic Expo Central China, CCCME will bring the third session into a new height.


Expo Characteristics:

Interactive: The Doraemon 2008 theme park will show the magic and dreamscape in the form of

inflatable castle. Cosplay and various games will bring you into a fantastic world through scene

reproduction, stage performance, painting and scribbling, etc.

Practical: As the full development of anime & comic industry, protection of intellectual-property

rights, especially for the personal anime & comic works becomes the core of the industry. The

Expo will provide an effective platform for the intellectual property protection of personal anime

& comic works, and will offer face-to-face expert consultation service.

Policy guiding: On the basis of government support and the preferential policies such as national

procurement, the Expo will strengthen the international cooperation. The Expo will set up special

exhibition booth for business matching and industry promotion service between nations. The Expo

will attract the excellent enterprises from America, Japan, Korea, and other anime & comic

domestic anime & comic market and enterprises.

The background of convening the conference:
The third International Anime & Comic & Game Expo Central China is held to optionally
introduce excellent international anime & comic works with education significance and to provide
trading and communicating platform for the anime & comic industry as well as to take use of the
advantages of geography, industries and markets in the middle land region to accelerate the
smooth development of the anime & comic industry in our country, and the six provinces are
improved to develop the cross-media business, optimize the industrial structure and expand the
publishing industrial chain at the same time.
The purpose of the conference:
Carry out the “Cultural construction and cultural system reforming” strategic determination from
the 17th Party Congress and the “stimulate the Rising of Middle Area” big strategy; Propagandize
the third International Anime & Comic & Game Expo Central China; completely strengthen the

Game Expo Central China

For accelerating the service trade development of the anime & comic & game industry in our
country, and improving the communication and cooperation of the anime & comic & game
industries worldwide, and strengthening the copyright protection sense of the anime & comic &
game industry in local China, and completely taking use of the platform of the third session of the
International Anime & Comic & Game Expo Central China; the activity will invite the Ministry of
Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and the Copyright Protection Center of China as well as the
leaders in charge, specialists and enterprises from the anime & comic & game field to issue the
guiding policy and make the authoritative comment in terms of the following content.

accelerate the industrialization process through displaying the anime & comic derivative products

Content: 1)presentation of derivative product from the famous anime & comic enterprises from
abroad and China;
          2)Sale of derivative products;
2. Cartoon digital line: display various cartoon works publishing and playing channel, and
research the commercial publishing channel for original works;
Items: 1)play 4 times every day (one hour playing of overseas famous works in each playing
time);
       2)Play 4 times (30 minutes playing for domestic excellent works in each playing time);
3. Cartoon works and book sale

VIII. Visitor organization of the International Anime & Comic & Game Expo
The effective organization of visitor is the indispensable accelerating factor for a successful
exhibition; the requirement of exhibitors can be regarded as the center to organize a large scale
and high quality visitor group through a logic and effective method, based on having a definite
object in view, different type of exhibitors are directionally invited to participate the exhibition in
order to increase the trading cooperation intention on site and improve the satisfaction of
participated exhibitors, so that the larger business opportunities are made for the exhibition. The
organization proposal of visitor in the International Anime & Comic & Game Expo as follows
according to previous exhibition procedures:
(I)Organization of overseas visitors
1. The online pre-registration procedure of overseas visitor will be started in advance by 4 months;
2. Cooperate with overseas processional web station and take use of its customer resource to carry
out the propaganda activity for the exhibition, and design and make the sign-up form for overseas
visitors and exhibitors.
3. Cooperate with international anime & comic exhibition to establish the cooperation
relationships for mutual benefits, and completely take use of the large overseas customer resource.

4. Collect and sort out exhibitor name list of overseas exhibition, and sort out the E-mail addresses,
the third session of the expo can be introduced through the email group-sending method to invite
them to participate.
(II)Organization of domestic visitors
1. Invite the leaders from the exhibition organizer and from province and city level government;
2. Invite the representatives of the main cartoon toy and stationery manufacturer, agents and
distributors in China (Specially including Hong kong, Taiwan and Macao area);
3. Invite the representatives of the main cartoon toy and stationery manufacturer, agents and
distributors in China;
4. Invite famous Children channels and cartoon channels of different TV stations, social science
newspaper and magazine of Juvenile, Juvenile & Children Publishing House, social science and
popular science book publishing companies and domestic cartoon association and organization
groups;
5. Invite domestic different film & TV culture communication organizations, network game
programming organizations (including advertisement company, film & TV program publishing
agent), domestic cartoon film & TV education and training organization and cartoon industry
investment companies.
