Upgrade your resume, earn AU credits and join the growing number of students, from universities around the country,
interning in London. Placements guaranteed in a professional practice internship through EUSA (European Study Abroad
and London Placement Limited). The program includes one week of orientation and on-site interviews and six weeks of
internship experience. A sampling of business internships include the following industry sectors: E-commerce, investment
banks, commercial banks, asset management firms, internet consulting, investment services, private capital groups,
management consultancies, pension services, broadcast companies, airlines, magazine houses, global network providers,
cosmetic companies, automobile companies, real estate firms, hotels, motion picture studios, insurance companies, retail
outlets, equity research firms and venture capital firms. Last year’s interns work for the Four Season, parliament, a basketball
team, global conferencing and a baseball group. Open to Juniors and Seniors in the College of Business and those with

PASSPORT AND VISA REQUIREMENTS:
Students will be required to have a valid Passport, good for 6 months after they return to the US after their internship. They will
also be required to get an entry permit (supplied by EUSA upon receipt of participant’s paperwork). This Entry Permit

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM:
Open to Juniors and Seniors in the College of Business and those with Business Minors. This program provides hands-on
internship experience in a major business area, for 32 – 40 hours per week. Optional AU courses in London available. All
students will work with an AU Faculty supervisor in their major business area along with the program directors – to discuss
their progress in their internship.
Courses offered include: Internship credit (3 hours), Directed Study Credit (3 hours)
LIVING ARRANGEMENTS/ HOUSING:
Students live in shared flats in one of London’s best neighborhoods, in easy walking distance to Hyde Park, Natural History
Museum, and Harrod’s. Each fully furnished flat has a kitchen with modern cooking facilities, high speed Ethernet
connections, phone lines and basic weekly housekeeping.
MEALS: Students will have kitchens in their apartments.
TRANSPORTATION: Students are within easy walking distance to buses, trains, taxis.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES AND PAYMENT: See schedule below. Space is limited and students must file formal
applications as soon as they know for sure they are participating. All AU and non-AU students must submit a completed
Auburn Abroad Package (Download at: www.auburn.edu/studyabroad, “download forms” “student forms” “Auburn Abroad
Program Package”). Non-Auburn University students must also be accepted as transient students by AU to qualify for the
Summer Abroad program and attach a transcript and a letter of good standing.
FORMAL PROGRAM ADMISSION: Completing and turning in the Auburn Abroad Application form with specified fee.
Auburn Abroad Program Package will also need to be completed. Formal acceptance letter will be sent to you. Upon admission
to the program all participants will be responsible for full payment of all fees and costs.
PAYMENT AND WITHDRAWAL DATES APPLICATION DATE AND OTHER KEY DATES
November 1, 2005: Application deadline.
Program fee will be billed to your Bursar Account after this date.
Receive Internship Package upon submission of application.
December 1, 2005: $ 500 deposit due to Bursar.
Apply early, rolling admission for program. We would love to
have you in our program however; the program will close when
March 1, 2006: First ½ of Program Fee due (Billed through the
January 15, 2006: You must have PASSPORT in your hands.
. February 15, 2006: Complete Internship Interview Package due
to EUSA. Including passport info.
March 9, 2006: Last day to withdraw and receive refund of
payments made LESS non-recoverable costs.
March 6, 7 , 2006: EUSA Placement officers conducting
Internship Interviews at AU Career Services. Auburn Abroad
NO REFUNDS IF WITHDRAW FROM PROGRAM AFTER
