HEALTH SERVICES Quality * Caring * Convenient HOURS OF OPERATION • Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During the Semester HEALTH FEE • Fall Fee - $78 • Spring Fee - $78 • Summer Fee - $37 • Unlimited Office Visits • Examination and treatment by a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Nurse. ELIGIBILITY All Georgia Southern students are eligible for Health Services. Enrolled in four (4) or more credit hours the health fee is included in tuition fees. Students taking less than four (4) credit hours may choose to pay the fee to receive the same benefits. Paying the fee entitles the student to unlimited visits throughout the semester. BRING YOUR I.D.! • A valid University Identification card is required to access services at the Health Center. SUPPLEMENTAL COSTS Payment for Additional costs for: supplemental costs are Prescriptions due at the time of service. Immunizations Health Services accepts: Some Lab Tests Cash Health Fee does not cover Check costs incurred at other VISA healthcare providers offices. MASTERCARD or EAGLEXPRESS Health Services does not file insurance claims, but will provide a detailed invoice for insurance purposes. LABORATORY SERVICES CLIA Certified Laboratory Certified Medical Technologist Most laboratory results are available the same day RESPIRATORY SERVICES Certified respiratory therapist. Assess lung capacity. Asthma education and self-care management. Discounted respiratory medications. INJECTION SERVICES Allergy injections Immunizations Hepatitis B Series--$ Meningitis--$ MMR--$ Flu--$ Tuberculosis screening RADIOLOGY SERVICES Registered Radiology Technologist Radiographs are currently processed at the Health Center and interpreted by a local Radiologist Orthopedic items such as splints, supports, and crutches are available. MEN’S HEALTH CLINIC Genitourinary concerns Sexual health concerns WOMEN’S HEALTH CLINIC Annual exams Contraceptive management Gynecological concerns The RX Shop The RX Shop fills prescriptions written by our medical professionals as well as other physicians.
