The coaches’ luncheon was held on May 10th and Gringo's did the catering. The coaches were
appreciative and wanted me to say "thank you" to the booster club. I would also like to thank Karen
Michelle for helping. Thanks to all the members that volunteered and baked the yummy treats. We had
a great variety and the coaches enjoyed the sweet treats and leftovers for a couple of days. I would like
to nominate Bonnie Page to take on the VP position for the 2011-2012 year. I want to thank everyone
for all your help this year. I really enjoyed working with all of you. I would like to wish Good Luck to
baseball in the playoffs. Go Stangs!
1. Please make sure if you are giving “sport specific” scholarships that the “Request for funds” form
in filled out completely. Include a contact information number!!!
2. Make sure player gets documentation of enrollment in college.
3. Please provide documentation stating what type of scholarship you are presenting, ie., senior,
MVP, etc. Over the summer, before you leave any documentation in the “box,” please text or email
me to make sure I am in town. I am in conversations with Coach VanMeter to determine what, if any,
input the booster club will have in producing the football program next season. I am moving ahead
with acquiring the machine(s) for accepting credit card payments. I hope to have that finalized in the
next month in time for membership to receive payments and hopefully have everything set for the
beginning of August. I am also checking into being able to add a “shopping cart” onto the website for
anyone to purchase any booster club items that any sport has to sell.
Thank you for such a great job this year working with us in trying to get the books straight. I am in
need of 2 volunteers and I also need 2 outside FMBC to help as well to help with an end of the year
audit . It will be done at my house with all the books and paper work ready to go. I try to make it as
painless as possible. If you and a friend want to come together and then go to eat afterwards it could
be your excuse to party with a friend. It takes about an hour and I will be flexible with everyone's
times. I would like to get it done in June if possible. If you can help please let me know tonight so we
can get this process started.

Booster Club has bought new benches for the Dugout, new water fountains for the dugouts, modifying
the dugouts for more room, buying custom on deck circles, buying lots of misc supplies and pursuing
the installation of a Baseball Program sign – which would detail the accomplishments of the team thru
the years, much like Brenham and Pearland have.
If you can, come support your Baseball Mustangs. We will not be able to score enough points in the
Lone Star cup to overcome Boerne Champion, so Friendswood will finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th.
It has been a great year and we hope it keeps going. We are sad and happy to go, and wish our 2012
Mustangs Great Luck Protecting the Tradition!!
