Introduction A New Year!
It was after 10 p.m., and I was in What’s Inside:
bed falling sleep. Andrew, my
husband, was asleep next to me.
                                                                     • Defender of the Defenseless
Suddenly, the atmosphere in my
room changed. There was a divine
presence hovering over my bed. I looked at the clock, and it • Government and Authority
was 10:20.
I turned my attention to the Lord and before I could • A Warning
even say, “Lord, what would You like to say?” I heard Him say
in a deeply quiet whisper, “Orphans.” • Maturity and Discipleship
When I heard “orphans,” an opening, in the shape of a
circle, appeared over my head in which I could see with my • Barrenness to Fruitfulness
natural eyes. It was as if the natural layer that we see on a
regular basis was pealed back, and I could see into the spiritual • Year of Yellow
realm. At this point, I knew a prophetic outpouring had begun,
and I somehow knew it was going to be words for 2010 for
Journey Church and the people therein. I recognized that the • Honey from the Rock
reason the outpouring began at 10:20 was because it was a play
on numbers…2010. • John 14
The Lord’s voice continued. While it was still a whisper,
it was louder. He said “Orphans” again. The opening got • Clean Out Our Stuff
bigger. Then, “Orphans” again. And the opening got bigger
still. “Orphans.” And yet again, the opening got bigger. He said • His Shining Face
“Orphans” at least eight times, and by the final time, the
opening was quite large above me. • You are My Sunshine
The prophetic outpouring became a stirring I could not
deny, and I got out of bed to chronicle what I was hearing. The
opening followed me to the other room where I would spend • Dream
nearly two hours writing everything I heard spoken. Literally,
the opening remained over me until midnight.

Defender of the Defenseless
When He first began to say “Orphans” to me, He then
said, “Defender of the defenseless.” Psalm 68:5 says, “A
father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in
His holy habitation.” God is going to reveal Himself as
                                                                 “A father to the fatherless,
the Defender in 2010. He is going to defend the orphan
and the widow. He said, “You would do well to join Me a defender of widows, is
in this.” This will be the year of the orphans and the widows.
I can’t describe the sound in His voice when He God in His holy
spoke of orphans. This will be their year. The Lord habitation.”
specifically told me that the 2009 horror movie in the
natural, “Orphan” is a movie the enemy has used to Psalm 68:5
circumvent this word for 2010. The orphan’s name was
even “Esther”. But He said nothing would stop His plans
for orphans in 2010. He has heard their cry.

Government and Authority
The Lord had been highlighting the number “10” to me all day. During this encounter, He kept
saying “authority” and that the year 2010 would be a year of authority.
I heard that it would be a year of “establishment” for Journey. There would be authority
established in Journey in 2010 that “the leaders of Journey have been teaching for five years.”
Journey teaches that the offices of fivefold ministry are to lead the fellowship, and that all believers
are called to “do the stuff” (as opposed to a pastor leading the fellowship and just first tier
leadership doing ministry and leading). What I knew He was saying was that the fivefold
governmental structure as defined in scripture would be established at Journey in 2010. I believe that
God is going to establish government and authority at Journey in 2010.
    • 1 Corinthians 12:28: “And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second
prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations,
        varieties of tongues.”
    • Ephesians 2:19-21: “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow
citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the
foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in
whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord”.
    • Ephesians 4:11: “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some
evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of
ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and
of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the
        fullness of Christ.”
He prompted me to research the biblical symbolism of “10” and “20”.
    • 10 symbolizes “Government; law (commandments); order; tithe; measure; trial; testing.” 20
symbolizes “holy, redemption”. I perceived that 2010 would be a year of the Lord’s holiness
and true governmental authority being established at Journey, and in the Body of Christ. In
Eph. 2:19-21 it says that we are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with
Jesus as our chief cornerstone that we might grown into a holy temple in the Lord.

A Year of Peace
This will be “a year of My peace”. He is the “Prince of Peace”. The peace of Jesus will take
residence in our hearts in 2010. We will begin to live from, do everything from, a place of
peace and no longer a place of anxiety or fear.
    • Isaiah 9:6: “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government
will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called…Prince of Peace.”
    • Romans 16:20: “And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.”
Philippians 4:7: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Isolation and Independence
I saw a tiger. I was prompted to look in a dictionary how a tiger
was described. It said, “A very solitary cat; fierce, determined
or ambitious” (Oxford American Dictionary). I asked the Lord
                                                                    The Lord desires that we
what He was saying. He said, “The enemy is going to become
more fierce, determined and ambitious in 2010.” I said, “Why be fully dependent on Him,
are You sharing this with me?” He said, “Be careful, he may and kept in His Body, that we
come through your independence or isolation to fulfill this.”

isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise
judgment.”

WORDS FOR 2010 HEATHER ROBINSON

From Barrenness to Fruitfulness
I heard, “From barrenness to fruitfulness.” I saw a picture of many people’s lives on a desert ground.
They had experienced barrenness for the last several years in certain areas of their life. Then, I saw little
tender pieces of grass start shooting up through the dry ground.
2010 will be a year of fruitfulness—for you and for Journey. Many will see great fruit this year
from the dry ground they once experienced! He will turn your sorrow into joy…your barrenness into
fruitfulness.
    • Psalm 30:5, “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a
night, but joy comes in the morning.”
    • Psalm 30:11, “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my
sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.”
    • Isaiah 54:1, “Sing, O barren, you who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud,
you who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children
of the married woman,” says the LORD.” This is a picture of restoration…the Lord providing above
        what was lost.
“God is in the midst of her, she

I heard, “This will be the year of yellow”. her, just at the break of dawn.”
Biblically, “yellow” represents God’s glory. Psalm 46:5
The Pantone Matching System (PMS – a color
matching system designers use across the globe) says on their website, pantone.com, the yellow color
of 2010 is called “Aurora”. An article said, “Splashes of sunshine for spring 2010”. Pantone.com
described “Aurora” like this: “Reminiscent of the first glimpse of yellow as the sun begins to rise
over the horizon, this shimmering, slightly greenish yellow adds a bold infusion.”
We are going to see the sun rise over the horizon of our life situations. The glory of God is
going to boldly come into our situations and our fellowship. The root word of “aurora” means,
“Dawn”. Scientifically, it speaks of the natural phenomenon that we know as “aurora borealis” or,
northern lights. Northern lights happen because of the interaction of charged particles from the sun
with atoms in the upper atmosphere.”
    • Psalm 46:5: “God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at
       the break of dawn.”
To sum it up, I believe yellow represents the breaking of the dawn in our lives, His glory
being known in our lives, and this being a year of His sunshine.

Honey from the Rock
I heard Him say, “Honey from the rock.” Honey is another aspect of yellow. But I sensed God saying
that we would experience the sweetness of Jesus this year.
    • Speaking of the people of Israel, God sang through Moses with what we call “The Song of
Moses” in Deut. 32:13, “He made him ride in the heights of the earth, that he might eat the
produce of the fields; He made him draw honey from the rock, and oil from the flinty rock.”
    • The Lord said of Israel, “He would have fed them also with the finest of wheat; And with
honey from the rock I would have satisfied you.” (Psalm 81:16)
Sweetness (honey) will come to us from His strength (Rock) to those who will call upon Him for it.

One of the most significant words the Lord gave me was the following. He said, “The chapter for the
year is John 14.” He especially highlighted verses 12-14, and 18. He prompted me to read John 14 in
its entirety. As I read John 14, it was as if Jesus Himself was reading it to me. The words were coming
off the page and going into my eyes. In addition, as I read the “logos” word, He simultaneously spoke
“rhema” words to me. He showed me that the reason He did this was because we will see a greater
marriage of the logos and the rhema in 2010.

Before going into John 14, I think it would be useful to give a brief description of what “logos”
and “rhema” mean.

“Logos,” a Greek word (Strong’s # 3056), comes from the root word “lego” (Strong’s # 3004). Logos,
with regards to speech, is defined as the sayings of God, and His decrees and mandates. It also means
doctrine and teaching, and a narration as well. In essence, logos embodies a conception or idea. It
speaks of God’s written Word.

A few “logos” passages are (Greek word is in bold): We will see a greater
   • John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word marriage of the logos
was God.” (Jesus is Logos…He is the Word.) and the rhema
   • Matt. 5:37 (KJV), “But let your communication be,
                                                                        in 2010.
Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than
these cometh of evil.” (What we commit to is logos.)
   • Matt. 7:24, “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him
to a wise man who built his house on the rock.” (The things Jesus spoke were logos.)

“Rhema,” a Greek word (Strong’s # 4487), comes from the root word “rheo” (Strong’s # 4483).
Rhema means “utterance” and “that which is or has been uttered by the living voice, thing spoken,
word”. It is the subject matter of what was spoken. It is God’s fresh word (for example, Matt. 4:4) to an
individual or group of people.

A few “rhema” passages include (Greek word is in bold):
   • Matthew 4:4 “But He answered and said, ‘It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but
by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (Rhema is the direct, spoken words of
      God to us.)
   • Matthew 18:16 “But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of
two or three witnesses every word may be established.” (Rhema is the direct words we speak
      to each other.)

Even More!
After John 14, the Lord shared the following with me.

Time to clean His Shining Face
“It’s time to clean out your stuff, and to get your He said this would be the year of His

this time, I heard the Father sing, in a very rustic,

much so, that the earth will say to the church, A year of redemption,
“You are my sunshine...you make me happy

The Midnight Hour, and A Dream
After I heard these last words, the opening closed, and I looked at the clock and it was 12:00 a.m.
exactly. I thought to myself, “Wow. I’m going to submit all of this to my “pastors” – the Overseer’s –
and then we’ll go from there.” I went to sleep, and had a dream, waking up from it at 5 a.m.

                                                           9
WORD FOR 2010 HEATHER ROBINSON

 Angels ascending and descending
In the dream, Andrew and I were supposed to meet David and Bethany Engelhardt (youth
pastors at Life Church) for breakfast at 10 a.m. It was 10:30, and we were just arriving. They had
college students from their youth group with them, who were eating at their table. I said to David
and Bethany, “I’m so sorry we’re late. I just had open heavens over my house. Angels of God
were ascending and descending in the open heavens.” David and Bethany were understanding,
and David wanted to hear more. The college students left because they were getting to something
 else.

Later, the four of us were at a different venue with other people. We were in a crowded
building with walls that were painted bright, vibrant colors of green, orange, red and yellow. It
had the feel of an orphanage. There were many, many adults and children there (more children
then adults) and several of us were sitting on the floor, me being one of them. I was sharing the
experience and words I had been given for 2010. At the end I said, “I’m going to submit this to
the pastors and ask for them to review it, and if I can share it.” Then I woke up. The time was 5
a.m. When I woke up and wrote the dream down, I realized the building was the Jamaican
orphanage I’ve seen pictures of that Amber Potter ministers at through the ministry, Embracing
 Orphans.

I believe this dream confirms the following items.
 1) This experience was a true, heavenly outpouring where angels of God were bringing messages
to Journey for 2010. Also, our senior leader, Gary Hemenway, has been asking, since our church
was planted, that Journey would be a place like Jacob’s ladder – that the angels of God would
ascend and descend through a heavenly opening over our church. I believe this has begun.
 2) It confirmed to have our Overseer team review the words (which they have). It’s interesting
that the very thing I said to the Lord in the natural after the open heavens were done, was the very
thing I said in the dream right before I woke up!
 3) The Lord has His heart set on orphans. The fact that we were at the orphanage that the
ministry, “Embracing Orphans” ministers to spoke of the Lord saying…embrace orphans. This is
 their year!
 4) Being with David and Bethany from Life Church speaks to Journey being connected with
churches that are of a like-mind, especially as it relates to orphans and justice.

          Welcome to 2010!
