Rehearsal: Will be held at the Decatur High School Auditorium in Decatur on Thursday, March
24th, 2011 following a Queen & Guest Rehearsal Reception (Desserts & Punch/Coffee Served) at 6
p.m. sponsored by Wise County Farm Bureau Board of Directors. Rehearsal will follow the
reception at the same location around 6:45 pm. ALL entry contestants must be present.
Contestants will draw their line-up number for the contest at the rehearsal and be introduced to
the media at this event. Please bring gown and shoes that you intend to wear for the practice to
this rehearsal.
     The contest attire will be formal dress. (Long Formal Gown) Contest date is: Monday,
        March 28th, 2011 with contestants there by 6:00 p.m. and general public to arrive at 7:00
        p.m. This will be held at the Decatur High School Auditorium second floor level and
        parking to entry at upper side parking lot. Guest passes will be given out at the rehearsal
        event to contestants and selected guests.
     There will be only one entry per 4-H Club/ FFA/ FCCLA Chapter per school. This entry
        must be voted and approved at a club/chapter official meeting with approval of the
        club/chapter and documented by the sponsor/club manager/advisor with a signature and date.
     Contestants must be single.
     Enclose four small photos for the area papers and for candidate poster. Polaroid’s may be
        used. Photos should be shoulder length. Write your name, address, town, state, zip and your
        club represented on the back of photos for returning purposes. Photos may be black and white
        or in color. These photos will be distributed to area news papers for publication, along with the
        information you provide on this sheet. So, please give us basic, clear, information on yourself,
        your activities, interests, family and any notable or distinguished remarks.
     Crowned 2011 Queens will be expected to attend their area of competing 4-H, FFA, and
        FCCLA events throughout the week of Youth Fair March 28 - April 2, 2011, for presenting
        and handing out awards at various assigned Youth Fair events. Contest winners must also be
        available, including runner-ups, during the Youth Fair for interviews from local
        newspapers and media.
NO Pass, NO play rule is applicable to participate in the Youth Fair Queen Contest event.
