PRMIA OPENS VENEZUELA CHAPTER, NAMES REGIONAL DIRECTOR
April 7, 2002 - The Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA) today announced the formation
of a new Regional Chapter in Venezuela, and named Juan Espina as the inaugural Regional Director to lead local
Juan Espina is a Senior Manager at BANCO DEL CARIBE C.A. in Caracas, Venezuela. He is also an Associate
Professor, Financial Math and Statistics at INSTITUTO UNIVERSITARIO DE NUEVAS PROFESIONES. Prior to
working with Banco Del Caribe, C.A., Mr. Espina worked with both BankOne and the Chicago Board of Trade in
Chicago. He has an M.S. in Finance from IIT Stuart Graduate School of Business and a BS in Agricultural

The addition of Venezuela extends PRMIA's local chapter presence to 29 areas.
