We just received an issue from our customer about how to transfer data (music, video, files) from
PC to Huawei MediaPad? The first 3.2 android tablet Huawei MediaPad draw a lots of attention
last year, it has a slim body (10.5mm), 7- inch screen, weighs in at 390g, 1.3 megapixel
front-facing camera, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera supports full 1080p playback, a battery good
for around six hours of life and a bona fide racehorse as a processor: a dual-core 1.2GHz
chip from Qualcomm. It’s no doubt, that Huawei MediaPad is a popular star among the high-end
tablets released last year. Although data sync may be considered as an easy question for those
veterans, but as the first android 3.2 honeycomb tablet, the Huawei MediaPad IOS may has many
differences compare with the old one, so, if you have the same problem, let’s see how to resolve
it within a few steps.

Transfer files to Huawei MediaPad Tablet with USB Cable

Go to “Settings -> Storage -> MTP” Check the Auto-open box

Then, you can use the USB cable came with your tablet to connect it to a computer, to transfer
music, pictures, and other files between your MediaPad and the computer.

For Windows PC
Support for MTP in Windows requires the installation of Windows Media Player 11 or higher and
the software in the virtual CD-ROM when plug into your computer.

For Mac OSX
Please find the virtual CD-ROM device named MediaPad on your computer, double click
androidfiletransfer.dmg to install and then you can exchange files between your tablet and the
computer.

If you don’t have an USB Cable for the moment, you can also transfer data to Huawei MediaPad
Tablet with a SD card, just copy the data to SD card and use the “file manager” on desktop to
copy files from SD card to Huawei MediaPad local storage.
