Site Survey Information
Please complete as many of the following questions as possible which will assist us to
configure the system for your specific environment. Don’t worry if you can’t answer all the
questions; we will work with you to better understand your environment and the requirements
where necessary.

1
IPs Identifying this Site: For each site that needs to be filtered, we need to know which set
of IP Addresses traffic will be originating from. This will normally be the IP address of your
local proxies or your firewall/ router. If you use dynamic IPs allocated by your ISP, just state
“Dynamic” instead of providing the IP list.
2
Users: Specify how many users are located at each site that will be filtered by the Web
Filtering Service.

Each client machine connects directly to the internet though the firewall with no proxy
settings. (The firewall can be on-site or a managed solution)

DIAGRAM B:
Each client machine sends all internet traffic though a local proxy server (such as ISA or

the behalf of the client machine.
