Michael Jackson had 5 brothers, and 3 sisters. His brothers were Jackie Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jermaine Jackson,
Marlon Jackson, and Randy Jackson. His sister were Maureen Jackson, Latoya Jackson, and Janet Jackson. The
brothers were the together known as a band called the Jackson 5. The Jackson Five had over 25 songs and over
5 albums. There first hit singles was “I Want You Back” and “Who’s Loving You”, in 1970, and it was number 2
in UK, and number 1 in the US. There father (Joseph Jackson) was accused of abusing his children and
making them rehearse countless hours. The brothers and sisters were of there father, and because of him
Michael didn’t had the childhood he always wanted. In 1975, Joseph negotiated a new recording contract with
CBS Records, who offered a royalty rate of 20% per record, compared to Motown's standard 2.8%; and would
allow the Jackson brothers to write and produce their own records and play their own instruments. After
unsuccessfully attempting to talk the group into staying on the label, Motown sued for breach of contract.
Although Motown eventually let the group go, the Jackson 5 were forced to change their name to The
Jacksons, because Motown owned the "Jackson 5" trademark. The Jacksons were also forced to trade Jermaine
for the youngest Jackson brother, 14-year-old Randy, since Jermaine chose to stay with Motown and the
Gordys. Randy had been an unofficial member of The Jackson 5 since 1972, playing congas onstage as part of
their live act. Later Michael Jackson the Jackson 5 to start his solo career. The last song he did with the
Jackson 5 was 2300 Jackson Street, in 1989.
                                    A letter to Michael Jackson
Dear Mr. Jackson
You are the best singer/dancer ever. I want to be just like you one
day, because I already know how to sing and dance and I also write
really good songs. I have so many questions to ask you, like what do
you feel when you dance and sing, or what is your favorite dance and
song of yours. My favorite dance is Smooth Criminal, and I have three
favorite songs, they are Smooth Criminal, Beat It, and Thriller. I really
hope you get this letter, and one day I hope I can be just like you.

Sincerely Malik Giles

This Is It was scheduled to begin in July 2009 and continue through March 2010. Michael
Jackson was suppose to perform it, but 3 weeks before he could, he died of a really bad
heart attack; but the song This Is It didn’t die with him. Michael Jackson had made the
song before he died, and the people who was working with him, made a movie of the
making of This Is It. This Is It was a album too, the album had songs he already made.
“Wanna Be Starting Someing”, “Jam”, “They Don’t Care About Us”, “Human Nature”, “Beat
It”, “Thriller”, and more are all part of This Is It. When Michael Jackson died, people said
the world stopped. Michael Jackson’s funeral was held in his former home Never land
Ranch, with an estimate of 17,500 people there. We will always mess him
