                          A Commendation
                                ANN HEBERT
WHEREAS, Ann Hebert has been a part of the New Hampshire Air National Guard Family
Program since 1990, spending countless hours working to support the families of our servicemen;
and

WHEREAS, Ann Hebert is known for her dedication, compassion, generosity and consideration to
all those around her; and

WHEREAS, In 2002, Ann Hebert became Lead Wing Volunteer overseeing the efforts of more
than 25 Family Program volunteers; and

WHEREAS, Ann Hebert has selflessly provided all the food for the monthly family gatherings for
four years and provided free uniform alterations and wedding gowns and alterations for military
brides; and

WHEREAS, In addition to her work with the Family Program, Ann Hebert volunteers at The
Salvation Army Soup Kitchen, donates hand-made baby items to New Generation and provides
Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for families in need; and

WHEREAS, Ann Hebert has demonstrated exemplary commitment to her community and state;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOHN H. LYNCH, GOVERNOR of the State of New Hampshire, and
the Executive Council, do hereby commend ANN HEBERT for being named the July 2009
Volunteer of the Month award recipient.

                                           Given this 15th day of July in the year of Our Lord two
