       Sub: SEAC – M/s. Shri Girija Alloys & Power (I) Pvt. Ltd., ( 153 MW Coal &
            306 MW Natural Gas based TPP), Sy. Nos. 151p, 153p, 154p & 162p of
            Peddapuram (V &M), Sy.Nos. 403p, 404p & 125p of RB Patnam (V),
            Samalkot (M), East Godavari District - Environmental Clearance – Reg.

In continuation of the above, the proposal was examined in the meeting of the State Expert
Appraisal Committee (SEAC) held on 28.01.2011. The SEAC observed as following:

       The representative of the project proponent Sri. CVSSRR. Raju, Vice Chairmen, and Sri
       Maheshwar Reddy, M/s. Pioneer Enviro Laboratories & Consultants Pvt.Ltd., attended
       and made a presentation before the SEAC.

       The proponent shall submit

          a) Necessary clearance from ground water department to draw ground water, if the
             source is ground water.
          b) Source of water and its availability.
          c) Details of water balance taking into account reuse and re-circulation of effluents.
          d) Details of rain water harvesting and how it will be used in the plant.
          e) Source sustainable study report of water requirement by a reputed institute. The
             study shall also specify the sources of water for meeting the requirement during
             lean season.

       The TORs proposed by the project proponent are approved. The proponent shall prepare
       draft EIA taking into account the above additional TORs, undergo the process of public
       hearing in consultation with APPCB, submit final EIA and minutes of public hearing to
       the SEAC for appraisal.

In view of the above, the proponent shall prepare draft EIA as mentioned above, undergo the
process of public hearing in consultation with APPCB, submit final EIA, minutes of public
hearing and response of the proponent to the issues emerged in the public hearing to the SEAC
for appraisal. The terms of the reference are valid for a period of TWO years.
