PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE:

1) CURRENT POSITION:

After spending some time experimenting with private consultancy and further enhancing my professional
qualifications I am currently seeking a Finance or Internal Audit position.

2.1)    I have also worked as Manager/Head Finance & Systems in a Pvt. Ltd. Co., operating a leading
        Sports & Recreational Club/Complex, in Karachi from May 2005 to July 2005. Reporting
        directly to the Chief Executive the responsibilities included the Restructuring and Re-
        engineering of the Finance & Accounts dept., acquisition and implementation of comprehensive
        and integrated accounting system software, dealing with banks in connection with various
        facilities, developing of the policies, providing hiring assistance and overall management of all
        accounting, finance, taxation and corporate regulatory matters.

2.2)    I worked as Manager Finance in a Pharmaceutical Co., reporting directly to the Chief
        Executive from December 2004 to March 2005. Some notable achievements include:

        1) Complete Re-engineering and Stream-lining of the Company’s payroll resulting in time
           saving and reduced documentation and related record maintenance.

        2) Adoption of computer-based accounting records and processing, from the prevailing manual
           system of accounts with quicker, accurate and efficient processing thereof.

        3) Introduction of monthly closing and up to-date maintenance of all subsidiary ledgers,
           journals, general ledgers, cash book, related reports, etc.

        4) Correction of mistakes in withholding taxes rates, figures in sales tax returns, etc.

        5) Achieving of the same day preparation and dispatch of all Company Invoices after receipt of
           related Delivery Challans and TRs from the Ware-house.

SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS & DISTINCTIONS:

1) I was heading the Accounting and Outsourcing department of FRSH in Islamabad and was
   responsible for various clients’ accounting, payroll, etc., affairs under the outsourcing arrangements.

2) On one specific occasion concerning a sensitive assignment for a major client the chief executive
   got my work and assumptions independently appraised and reviewed by a leading partner of
   PWC Global in 2003 but I came out of it with success and commendation. Earlier a similar review
   was carried out in-house by the client's General Manager Finance, Financial Controller, Sr. Manager
   Planning and Manager HR/Tax/Internal Audit.

3) Independently worked in 2001 on an assignment of Petronas Exploration, owned by Petronas group
   of Malaysia, for Review of All Applicable Laws and Regulations under the Petroleum Concession
   Agreement (PCA) to Asses the Impact on Company of the proposed Change in Effective Date of
   PCA and its Extension by the Government of Pakistan (GOP) through President of the Islamic
   Republic of Pakistan as a signatory thereto.

4) Worked in a major capacity in 2003 in carrying out a Review of Employees’ Policies Manual of Uch
   Power Ltd., a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) owned by General Electric of USA and
   Hawkins International. This also included the re-wording and re-drafting of certain policies, etc. Also
   worked in initial phases on a related assignment for formulating the policy for Disaster Recovery
   and Business Continuity Planning for the Company.

5) Carried out an assignment in 2002 and 2003 for Comparative Salary Analysis within the Energy
   sector in Pakistan for Liberty Power Ltd., a leading IPP owned by Malaysian State Utility. This
   included Collection, Compilation and Analysis of the relevant data and Drafting of the related Report,
   Charts, Graphs, etc. I independently handled/performed all these tasks except for finalization of the
   report by our partner.

6) Played central role in developing and implementing a Tax Saving Product for Salaried Executives
   in the higher tax bracket at scores of MNC and local companies and organizations entailing savings of
   tens of millions of rupees. The beneficiaries include, among others, Pakistan Tobacco Company
   Ltd., Paktel Ltd., Uch Power Ltd., Khushhali Bank, LMK Resources, BHP Billiton, Petronas,
   Orient Petroleum Inc., Elixir Technologies, Communications Enabling Technologies, Streaming
   Networks, The Asia Foundation, etc.

7) Handled all aspects, including agreement on Fee, for the Expatriate Taxation assignment of the
   Canadian Telecom giant Nortel Networks under the global outsourcing arrangements with Andersen
   and later Deloitte, Canada. Nortel is engaged in the development and expansion of Ufone’s network,
   one of the leading cellular operators owned by PTCL the state-owned telecom utility. This assignment
   during the period from 2001 to 2003 involved extensive communication and coordination with
   other Andersen/Deloitte Service teams around the world, international dealing, correspondence
   and exposure and my performance on the assignment resulted in commendable recognition and
   related bonus in the performance review.

8) Led the Team of our Firm in 2003 in the initial months of an Outsourcing arrangement of Routine
   Income/Sales Tax Compliance Matters with Paktel and Instaphone, 02 of the leading 04 cellular
   operators in Pakistan, owned by Millicom of Luxembourg.

9) Supervised and worked on an assignment of hiring assistance in 2003 for Kashf Foundation, a
   Microfinance organization working for the uplift of women in and around Lahore. Also provided
   hiring assistance to RASG & Co. and for one of its assignment relating to Civil Aviation Authority.
   Also providing hiring assistance to my current employer and conducted scores of interviews for
   numerous positions in Finance and other departments.

10) Led the team of our Firm in 2003 for Negotiating the Proposed Outsourcing of Payroll Processing
    Function and related Tasks including the Management of Employee Benefit Funds of Pakistan
    Tobacco Company Ltd., a Member of British American Tobacco group. The assignment involved
    a lot of interaction at higher levels and a detailed study of their systems spanning more than 10 days.

11) Participated in determining the legal status and related regulatory concessions of a USAID project
    in Pakistan through Children’s Resources International Inc. in 2002.

12) Worked in a major capacity in 2001 on an assignment initiated by Arthur Andersen, Australia for
    Global Tax Review in the context of BHP’s International Assignees around the world. BHP is an
    Australia based global group in the Oil & Gas, Minerals and Steel sectors. The Company is one of the
    leading producers of Oil and is currently supplying the national grid from their Zamzama well in Dadu.

13) Worked on a review of more than 02 years’ Sales Tax Records of Northern Bottlers (Pvt.) Ltd., a
    company owned by Artal group of Belgium, manufacture of AVA premium drinking water in
    Pakistan. This led the relevant Sales tax authorities to withdraw show cause notices in 1999.

14) Participated in 1999 in preparing and reviewing working paper files of one of the leading Audit
    clients of Sidat Hyder for onward review by members of the Quality Control Review (QCR)

    Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). Also worked on the review
    of Audit Manual of a small CA firm to enable their compliance with the ICAP’s QCR program.

15) Carried out, Supervised, Managed and Led the Payroll, Funds’ management Outsourcing
    Arrangements of our Firm with Uch Power Ltd., BHP Billiton Pakistan, British-Borneo Exploration
    Pakistan, Cisco Pakistan, etc (From 1998 to 2004). Also oversaw and managed the Compensation
    and Tax Affairs of Chief Executives of numerous local and multinational entities.

16) Won recognition and appreciation in the very First Year of my Articles in 1997 on an Audit.
    Again in 2nd Year in 1998 prepared one of the best Internal Control Memorandums at that time
    for two audit clients and received very good performance review resulting in my promotion to
    Semi Senior, Stipend increase and Bonus. The client also appreciated many points.
