A maximum of one entry per chapter will be accepted. One hand-held microphone and one microphone/stand will be available for use. Equipment/props may be stored backstage or kept with member/adviser. No storage will be provided in headquarters. A piano is not available. District I is not responsible for theft, damage, etc. to props and equipment. TALENT SHOW ENTRY FORM RULES: Each FBLA Chapter may enter no more than one act in the Talent Show by completing the entry form below. This form must be e-mailed on/before Wednesday, January 11, 2012, to: Tony Jones, District I President/State Vice President email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org Contestants will perform on stage in the Fort Smith Convention Center. A stand microphone, hand-held microphone, and sound system will be provided. All other items must be provided by the participant(s). Any type of group (or individual) may perform – singing, dancing, dramatic reading, etc., AS LONG AS IT IS APPROVED BY THE FBLA CHAPTER ADVISER. All contestants must be back in BUSINESS ATTIRE FOR THE SECOND GENERAL SESSION/AWARDS CEREMONY. The top two places will compete at the State Conference Talent Show in April. This is only a District and State event. It does not progress to Nationals. The Talent Show is a fun addition to our conference, but the competitive events come first. Make a note on the entry part if your student is in a competition, and we will try to schedule accordingly. Please include an introduction that you would like the announcer to read before you perform.
