Responsible for all software development for the Transport division with staff located in MD, Atlanta and
Cupertino. Managed approximately 100 people and $15 million expense budget. Assisted with new
company acquisitions and integrations. Lead ISO 9000-3 effort to successful certification on first attempt.

several telephony products designed for LD carriers and cellular operators. Enhanced X-windows, Sun
based, network management. Provided firmware for 68HC11-based proprietary T1/E1 drop side modules
including E&M and gain adjustable voice circuits. Worked on 68340-based proprietary cross connect card
and a fractional T1, spread spectrum radio product, 2.4 gig, using C and C++.

lead company efforts in TQM. Participated in system architecture, network protocols, system verification
engineering, voice transport and telephony options, and a variety of access protocols. Heavy emphasis on
embedded 680x0 family using Sun for development.

Managed total systems and software projects for INDAX, an $8 million 2-way cable interactive system. Co-
inventor of INDAX, applied for patents. Responsible for overall software design and implementation.
Served as advisor on new technologies/business opportunities, including the purchase of a $4.5 million
mainframe and the business plan for a new $20 million national paging business. Also managed Systems,
Integration and Quality Assurance groups.

Loral Electronics Systems – Atlanta, Georgia
(1980 – 1981)
Responsibilities included software standards and customer liaison in a military subcontractor environment,
managing a $500k software development with a staff of 8 and heavy interaction with the hardware and
general project management groups. Worked with NATO countries to produce a Maritime
Reconnaissance ESM Display Subsystem, which was real-time avionics employing a network of
computers. Established a group to produce software for automatic printed circuit board fault isolation.

Assisted with analysis, design and implementation of a distributed processing system for major power
generation facilities including plant maintenance, inventories and warehousing. Maintained 50 power
delivery programs spanning four systems. Led design of integrated DBMS system to replace old
transmission systems. Analyzed, designed and implemented programs to complete substation design

(1968 – 1977)
Responsible for all aspects of system and applications development. Designed and implemented
teleprocessing system using a DEC minicomputer to front-end an IBM mainframe. Analyzed and designed
an on-line system to control WIP, including an on-line warehouse locator system and inventory system.
