                  AP Examination Reduced Fee Eligibility
To be considered for College Board AP Examination Reduced fees, the student must
provide the following as proof of the family’s financial need:


       2010 Income Tax Form 1040, page 1 with annual gross income
       and number of dependents listed. Form must be signed and dated.
       Inclusion in the free/reduced lunch program does not meet the eligibility requirements.

The figures shown under family income represent amounts equal to 185 percent of the 2010 Federal income
poverty guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. These levels were
published in the Federal Register, Vol. 75, No. 148, 8/3/10, pp. 45628-45629.



If family income is at or below the listed amount, the College Board reduces the
exam fee from $87 to $57. With additional State of Michigan grants, the final
AP exam fee for qualifying students is $0.

If possible, student should bring the above proof with their order form to the AP
Coordinator prior to the regular exam ordering week.
