Sachin's debut match was against Pakistan in a test match on 1989. His one-day international (ODI) debut
was on December 18 against Pakistan. His maiden ODI century came on September 9, 1994 against Australia
in Sri Lanka at Colombo, just six years after his debut.
On December 11, 1988, aged just 15 years and 232 days, Tendulkar scored 100 not out in his debut first-class
match for Bombay against Gujarat, making him the youngest Indian to score a century on first-class debut.
