We are delighted to invite you to become a sponsor of ACE 2005, the Quiz Competition for corporate

teams, to be held at Khemka Auditorium, Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad on 4 June
2005 (4 p.m. to 8 p.m.). Asha is a nonprofit voluntary organization dedicated to socio-economic
development in India through education for underprivileged children. Asha believes that education is
paramount for propelling socio-economic change in the society. Asha was founded at the University of
California at Berkeley, USA, in the summer of 1991, by a group of students including the Magsaysay
award winner Dr. Sandeep Pandey. Since then, Asha has steadily grown in strength and number, and
today has chapters in several countries with over 1000 global volunteers, and has disbursed about $4
million for 385 projects spanning 24 states in India.
In its continuous endeavor to provide for the basic needs of children, the Hyderabad chapter of Asha is
organizing a quiz for corporate teams, ACE 2005, whose proceeds would go towards the welfare of
students of Yellammabanda School, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. This school serves the children of quarry
workers in the slums of Kukatpally.
The opportunity this event presents for sponsors can only be described as a win-win situation. It’s a
chance for your company to increase mind share and receive extensive advertising coverage among the
young executives and the wide base of Asha volunteers, while helping the worthy cause of educating
underprivileged children.
Events organized by Asha receive extensive publicity through posters, flyers, program handouts, the
print and Internet media, and other marketing avenues. In addition, sponsors also receive exposure on
the day of the event through banners, handouts, brochure advertisements, on-stage mention, and stalls
at the venue to sell their products. We would also be willing to work on any other specific requirements
you may have.
Given the popularity of quizzing in the city, as well as Asha’s presence in the city and its particularly
wide reach among Indian working professionals, the student community and high-net worth
individuals, we are confident that this concert will be another huge success and will hopefully lead to a
