             Importance of Receiving
                                                                                                   
Receipts are required for all orders placed in buyWays. All users have the ability to create a
receipt. Receipts can be created before or after an invoice is created. Receipts should be
created as soon as the supplies are delivered and received by the end user (shopper). The lack
of a receipt will prevent payment to the supplier.

Creating a Complete Receipt
1.   From the PO History Search, click on the PO number to view the PO Status page

Creating a Receipt with a Receive and Return

3.   Choose Create Qty Receipt or Create Cost Receipt from the Available Actions drop down
     menu, click Go
4.   The receipt will be automatically populated with the PO information
5.   For one of the lines, enter the quantity and change the Action to received/returned.
6.   Enter the Packing Slip number and/or Notes (when necessary)
7.   Review all Line level data
8.   Click the Complete box
