          Development Studies, Roskilde University and Centre for Forests, Landscape and Planning, University
          of Copenhagen(4-8 June, 2012)?

          INSTRUCTIONS

          1.   APPLICANT

          Candidates must be in the possession of a Master degree (or equivalent). They must be registered
          as PhD or Post-Doc candidates. Practitioners (people working in think tanks, development
          organisations and research institutes) are encouraged to apply for this summer school.
              Provide the name, nationality and full address of the candidates. Practitioners should also give full
              details of their highest academic qualification, including dates of attendance along with current work
              position and details of their organisation.

          2.   PROJECT TITLE
               Provide a short but informative project title of your current research project (for both PhD/Post-Doc
               and practitioners).
               Provide full details of your Supervisory team- Promoter/s, and Co-promoters.
               The starting date and the ending date of your current research project.

          3.   SUMMARY
               (for both PhD/Post-Doc and practitioners).
               Provide a summary of 200 words at maximum. The summary contains the problem definition and
               objectives and indicates the methodology.

          4.   RELEVANCE
               (for both PhD/Post-Doc and practitioners).
               Provide in 200 words the relevance of the summer school to your own research project.

          5.   Only candidates registered as participants of university/institution located in developing world would
               be considered for sponsorships.
