2011 Horse Royalty Application Powered By Docstoc
					Dear Royalty Candidates,

It is time to think about the Junior Fair Horse Royalty Program for the year 2011! The up
coming 4-H year promises to be very exciting! The only thing missing is YOU! This is a
chance for our most knowledgeable and skilled riders to compete. We had an excellent
slate of contestants in 2010. We anticipate another great year for 2011. Enclosed you will
find the application. It is DUE ON OR BEFORE March 31, 2011. There is a $20.00
application fee again this year. This fee helps cover the cost of books, etc…… Please
make your checks payable to the 4-H Horse Advisory Committee. Read over the
application carefully.

We will have our first meeting Thursday April 14th at 6pm. The meeting will tentatively
be held at Donatos on Broadway in Grove City. This meeting is mandatory! For
members who want to participate in Royalty and are away at school, (at least 50 miles),
you may have a representative attend the first meeting for you. This person can be an
advisor or parent. Let the Royalty advisors know at least one week before the meeting.
Information about our luncheon, test, and interview will be given to you during this
meeting. You will receive the books that we will be using this year. This will also give
you the opportunity to ask any questions concerning the advisory committee horse shows,
Royalty Ride Ins, and other Fair Requirements. Best of all, you will get to meet your
fellow contestants and begin some new friendships.

The Horse Royalty Competition is an excellent opportunity to show your pride in
yourself and your 4-H Horse project. It is also an opportunity to develop leadership and
communication skills that will be of great value to you in your future.

Royalty T-Shirts cost between $15 & $20. If you would like one, mark your order on the
application. We will try to have them for the first meeting. They must be paid for before
you receive your shirt. You can pay for them at the first meeting.

If you have any questions about the program, please call or email:

Sincerely,
Julie and Julie
