Request for Proposal Internet Access E-RATE FUNDING YEAR 2012 2012-2013 Objective Trinidad ISD is seeking “internet access” solutions as a communications tool for our school system. The attachments accompanying this letter, describe the district’s needs and specifications. All vendors are asked to submit a proposal with an integrated approach to both services and support. Please list applications and hosting prices separately complete with itemization. The customer request that all data submitted, be in a format of common understanding, with technical jargon left to a minimum. Trinidad ISD reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive technicalities, and award all or part of any contract to the vendor that best meets the interest of Trinidad Independent School District. The term of the contract shall be for a period of 1 years beginning July 1, 2012. The contract may be cancelled with sixty day prior written notice. All aspects of the proposal and services must comply with the Federal Communication Commission’s competitive bidding process and with Universal Service Fund guidelines. All proposals are due by 9:00 am on 02/10/11. Any proposal received at the designated location after the required time and date specified for receipt shall be considered late and non-responsive. Late proposals, while reviewed, may be considered a determining factor in the award process. Basis of Award Trinidad ISD will keep with the guidelines of USAC. The following RFP will be awarded to the most effective provider that is able to meet the district’s need. Prices will not be the sole factor in evaluation. Some other factors include prior experience, past performance, personnel qualifications, schedule compliance, and flexibility of agreements/terms. The customer does not guarantee any award to any vendor by submitting an RFP.
