About My Class:
This semester course is designed to engage and challenge students while teaching
them the fascinating subject of Psychology. There will be reading/terms homework
every night and an AP style quiz every day.
All students enrolled in the course will be required to take the AP Psychology
Exam (paid for by the school). The AP Psychology Exam is approximately 2
hours long and includes both a 70-minute multiple-choice section and a 50-
minute free-response section. The test is scored on a 5-point scale.
The course prepares students for the rigor of college.

The purpose of the AP course in Psychology is to introduce the systematic and
scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings and other
animals. Included is a consideration of the psychological facts, principles, and
phenomena associated with each of the major subfields within psychology. Students
also learn about the ethics and methods psychologists use in their science and
