					   Parents! Cub Scout Pack 942 Needs Your Help
We need people who are committed to making their son’s Cub Scouting experience the very best it can be.

Our current needs are for:

    -    Pack Secretary, duties: record and publish minutes of PALMs, keep the Cubmaster and Den Leaders
         in-line. Requires training which is paid for by the Pack. Should attend Pow Wow (Pack pays entry
         fee).

    -    Cub Advancement Coordinator, duties: keep track of Scout achievements (very easy with use of
         ScoutTrack web-based software currently in use), order and receive advancements for all members of
         Pack 942. Requires training which is paid for by the Pack. Should attend Pow Wow (Pack pays entry
         fee).

    -    Assistant Cubmaster(s), duties: lead cheers, songs, games; runs the Pack Meeting if the Cubmaster
         is absent. Requires training which is paid for by the Pack. Should attend Pow Wow (Pack pays entry
         fee).

    -    Den Leader(s), duties: plan and run the Den Meetings. Requires Youth Protection training (available
         online), recommended Leader Specific training which is paid for by the Pack. Should attend Pow Wow
         (Pack pays entry fee).

    -    Assistant Den Leader(s), duties: help the Den Leaders plan and run the Den Meetings. Requires
         Youth Protection training (available online), recommended Leader Specific training which is paid for by
         the Pack. Should attend Pow Wow (Pack pays entry fee).

    -    Blue & Gold Banquet Planning Team Members, duties: assist B&G Coordinator with the specifics
         of planning and executing the Blue & Gold Banquet, which is the annual celebration of the anniversary
         of Cub Scouting in the U.S.; almost always held in February. Attending Pow Wow would be highly
         advised (Pack pays entry fee).

    -    Pinewood Derby Pit Crew, duties: assist with the registration and weigh-in of scouts’ cars, help with
         any last-minute weight additions / subtractions, maintain order for the running of the races, assist with
         the set-up and tear-down of the Pinewood Derby racing set. Attending Pow Wow would be highly
         advised (Pack pays entry fee).

    -    Webelos-to-Boy Scouts Crossover Coordinator, duties: help the Cubmaster to plan and execute
         the crossing over of the second year Webelos into Boy Scout troops, make sure the Webelos are
         hooked up with a target Boy Scout Troop for March and beyond, make sure the crossover ceremony
         runs and is memorable. Attending Pow Wow would be highly advised (Pack pays entry fee).

    -    Gathering Activity Team, duties: help the Cubmaster to decide and execute a Gathering Activity for
         most Pack Meetings. Attending Pow Wow would be highly advised (Pack pays entry fee).

    -    Drivers for Scouting For Food days, duties: drive and direct Cub Scouts in the delivery and retrieval
         of plastic bags during the Scouting For Food events on November 13 and 20.
