    2008 Colloquium:
    The Role of Guidelines and
    Precedents in Antitrust
    Law and Policy
    10 July 2008 from 4 - 7pm
The Jevons Institute at University College London is organising the annual colloquium to
discuss the role of guildelines and precedents in antitrust law and policy.


The event will be chaired by Bo Vesterdorf, former President of the Court of First Instance and
Distinguished Judicial Scholar at the Faculty of Laws, UCL.


Speakers include:
Ben Smulder, European Commission
Judge Nicholas Forwood QC, Court of First Instance
John Fingleton, Chief Executive, Office of Fair Trading
Sir Gerald Barling, President, Competition Appeal Tribunal


The event will begin at 4.00pm with registration and finish, with a drinks reception, at
7.00pm.


Please note that space at this event is limited and we can therefore offer places for only
