					       People around the world know about number 23 in NBA Michael Jordan and mastering

of master Bruce Lee such as the biggest legend all time that they had impacted into the young

generation; they were both famous of the reputation by using the talents that God had gave to

achieve in different career. It seems to be a hardest obstacle to overcome but they were

successful in seeking their goal that people respect of their contribution for the society in

different way.


       Bruce Lee (Lee Hsiao Lung) was born in San Francisco in November 1940 the son of

famous Chinese opera singer. Bruce moved to Hong Kong when he soon became a child start in

the growing eastern film industry. He was a loner and constantly getting into fights because he

wanted to learn King Fu as a way of discipline himself that the famous Yip Men taught Bruce his

basic skills but no longer had he become mastering the master. At the age of 19 he left Hong

Kong to study for a degree in philosophy at the University of Washington in America, it was at

this time he began to teach some his skills to students who would pay that he opened his martial

arts school flourished. He quickly became the hero of the youth who wants to train themselves

and learn about Martial Art. He had some impact into the Hollywood because of his fighting

skills but it was a huge opportunity when he visited Hong Kong in 1968 and he was

overwhelmed by the attention from the audience, his first film was called “The bird of Mankind”

which is marking an early succeed of the young man. “One inch punch skill comes from Kung

Fu style of Wing Chu, it is represent in many styles of Chinese martial arts but it was brought to

popular by Bruce Lee when he demonstrated the technique during the Long Beach International

Karate championships. He was not a professional fighter but he won all the matches that the

opponent challenged him because he moved very quickly on the ring that makes his opponent

couldn’t touch him, also he had a powerful kick directly to the target and using well the stick
fighting. Because of training so hard that he is able to do everything than other person such as:

push up with his thumbs, hold a 125 lb barbell straight out, use one finger to leave dramatic

indentations on pine wood, striking speed from three feet with his hands down by his side

reached five hundredths of a second, and many of different thing we cannot imagine, all this

made him became the greatest fighter in the world. He had many books, document, legendary

and movies about Martial Arts such as: the big boss, first of jury, way of the dragon, enter the

dragon, the philosophical art of self defense, the man and the legend, and game of death which

was the last film he made before he died on July 20, 1973. He became a legend that everyone

would respect him as a father of Martial Art, not only Bruce Lee became popular around the

world but also Michael Jordan has known as the legendary of NBA.


       Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Deloris who worked in

accounting; his family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina when he was a toddler unlike

Bruce Lee was a child start in film industry. He made the varsity basketball team at Emsley A.

Laney high school and was selected to the McDonald’s all American team after averaged a

tribble-double: 29.2 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 10.1 assists in his final two season of high school;

of course Jordan and Lee had succeed in early of their age which set the tone to become popular.

Jordan was named ACC freshman of the year after he averaged 13.4 points per game on 53.4%

shooting field goal. He made the game-winning jump shot in the 1982 NCAA champions’ game

against Georgetown as the major turning point in his basketball career in America unlike Lee

was seeking his success oversea. He led the Chicago Bull to 6 NBA championships in the 90’s

that he considered to be the best player in basketball history. With his athleticism he became the

greatest dunker win back to back at the slam contest in 1987 and 1988 such as Lee was renowned

with one inch punch when he enter the Martial Arts. Jordan set many records for himself and
history of NBA that everyone knows he is the greatest basketball professional player of all time.

He retired at the end of NBA in 2003.


          Well, Michael Jordan and Bruce Lee had major impact into the sports and especially the

young generation as the mirror. They both have brought the NBA and Martial Arts to the new
