                  Chapter 2 Router set-up
Before router’s set-up, please link correct according to following steps. In order
to achieve product’s wireless functions, please put the router in the middle of
covered area.
   1. Power supply for router. Supply methods: battery, power adapter, PC.
   Power recharging method introduction:
    (1) Supply by power adapter or PC, power off. Now recharge only, when recharging
finishes, battery light off.
   (2) Supply by power adapter or PC, power on. Recharge while in use.

2、Power on




3、Insert data card into router.
4. Make sure WIFI is on and works normal, connect to router through WIFI.



             Chapter 3 Admin center log-on
This chapter mainly introduces how to use router settings. After confirming wireless
connection to device, please set up the router according to following steps.
    1. Open Web browser, input “router.3g” or”192.168.169.1” in address bar,
and press enter.




2. In the following pop-up window, both input “admin” at “User name” bar and
       “Password” bar, then press “OK” to enter administration page.

After you enter correct User name and password, click OK and enter administrator
mode main page.
Note: router is compatible with WCDMA, EVDO, TD-SCDMA data cards, here is a WCDMA
data card example.




Network info: Signal, currently registered network, ISP, connect status

Connect status: Displays current network upload and download speed rate, current
add-up network flow and sum-up network flow information.


WIFI      management:                   Displays current WIFI name of router.
                         If you need to change it, click                        button and enter a
                         new name, then click “confirm”


                             Non-encrypted mode. Click the button to encrypt. Default
                         encryption mode: WEP, default password: admin. Click
                         to change the password.
                             Encrypted mode. Click the button and switch to non-encrypted
                         mode.


User Management: Displays User name and Password for log-on, which can be manually
modified.



               Chapter 4 Ethernet connection
    There are mainly two common types of Ethernet connection: 1. Connected to router; 2.
Connected to ADSL modem. Please make sure of your Ethernet connection type before using.



4.1 Connected to router – Plug & Play
     Set the router that you connect to MIFI to DHCP mode and MIFI will automatically obtain IP
address from your router. (Notice: if it doesn’t work out the first time you plug in the cable, please
re-plug it)

4.2 Connected to ADSL modem – manually input username & password
     Here is how to set up the ADSL connection with MIFI:
    1. Connect to MIFI wirelessly, enter Admin pater, click Settings – Internet setting – WAN
    2. Change the WAN connection type to “PPPOE(ADSL)”

   3. Input username and password and click apply.




           Chapter 5 Load Default Settings
You need to reconstruct the network or you forget the changes of some parameters,
you can choose to restore factory defaults and reconfigure the device.
1. Reset: Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds to restore the factory
   defaults, 1 second to reboot device.
   Notice: After this operation, all configurations are restored to the defaults.

2. Log on to admin page, click “Administration”-“Settings Management”, click
   “Load Default”.
