TEL 01757704315/07766447623 www.eastfarmequestrian.co.uk STARTING AT 10 AM Sensible Jumping CLASS I – under 2’ – no fillers or spreads CLASS 2 – under 2’6 – spreads and fillers CLASS 3 – under 3’ – spreads and fillers Classes 1-3 £5 Rosettes to 6th place – points count towards end of year trophy NOT BEFORE 12.00 CLASS 4 –- PICK YOUR OWN COURSE - £5 EACH COMPETITOR MUST JUMP A COURSE OF THIER CHOICE (SPECIFIED FIRST AND LAST FENCE) AGAINST THE CLOCK. Points count towards end of year trophy (Quite sensible so far!) CLASS 5 - PAIRS - £6 PER PAIR, (Stills seems sensible enough) CLASS 6 - 6 LEGGED JUMPING - £3 JUMPED AGAINST THE CLOCK, RIDER MUST THEN DISMOUNT PASS THE HORSE TO AN ASSISTANT AND JUMP THE COURSE ON FOOT! (Less sensible!) CLASS 7 - BARE-BACK JUMPING - £3 YIP EXACTLY AS IT SOUNDS (BRIDLE & HAT MUST BE WORN) JUMPS WILL BE SMALL! Lead reins permitted. (Not at all sensible!) CLASS 8 – WHINNIE & WOOF – £3 Lead reins permitted. Jump the course as normal, dismount, swap with the dog handler, and dog jump the course. Fastest time wins. (The dog can be led by the handler or the rider but the rider must dismount before the dog can start!) Against the clock. Rosettes to 6th CLASS 9 – POINTS ACCUMALATOR £3 each fence has a different points value, jump in any order – most points wins! Points will be awarded; 1st to 6th placings class 4, 5, 6, 7 & 9 - 6 points for 1st, 5 for 2nd etc…. For entering class 11 &12, 14; 1 point for entering, 1st to 5th place points as above The entrant with the most points will win the “SILIEST COMPETITIOR 2008” Trophy! CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Horse riding is a dangerous sport, both to those who partake and also to onlookers and spectators. The organisers insist that all those who will be competing and also attending as a groom/assistant/spectator read the following. The show organisers take no responsibility for any incidents arising from the events/shows, to those competing or otherwise attending. The organisers have carried out risk assessments and have ensured everything practicable has been done to protect the safety of those attending. Competitors will be responsible for their horse/pony at all times. They will conduct themselves in manner that does not put either themselves or others at risk. Members of the public and competitors are equally responsible for the safety of themselves and others. Horses are unpredictable and can be easily frightened, causing them to kick out or move suddenly. Spectators and riders must both be aware of this. In particular children should be supervised at all times. Competitors must have a suitable level of insurance, including liability and must be prepared to show this to the organisers if requested. It is recommended that all those attending in any capacity have personal injury and public liability cover. All competitors will wear a hard hat PAS015/EN1384 or above. The wearing of body protectors and the use of safety stirrups is highly recommended. By entering the competition the competitor agrees with the above outlined and agrees to indemnify the organisers of any legal action which should arise there from... No smoking beyond the red gates ALSO The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, and to alter or cancel classes in the event of insufficient entries. Competitors/ spectators may be asked to leave if the organisers feel they are acting in such a way as to cause danger or nuisance to others attending. The decision of the judge is final. Complaints may be registered on the day, with a deposit of £20. The organisers will treat any complaint seriously, however if the complaint is not upheld the deposit will be non-returnable. The organisers will always welcome feedback and ideas from those attending.
