How do I use the ticket system?
Remember it is required to use the ticket system for all IT related issues, including printing
issues, supply ordering, system support, and any other issue that may arise. If you are unsure if
an issue should be resolved via the ticket system, assume it should be resolved via the ticket
system. The only exceptions are when you either cannot access the website, or are unable to
receive email. If the issue is an immediate emergency, the ticket system can be bypassed,
however you still are required to go back into the system later and add the ticket so that the it
department may properly track the issue. In order to create a ticket, navigate your web

How do I reply to a response in the ticket system?
It is important to remember when you receive a response to your ticket and you need to reply,
you cannot reply via email. Inside the email are instructions on how to reply, using the link
inside the email. If you lose the email, you can log into the system and reply to your ticket from
there. Please do not create a second, additional ticket, as it will cause confusion and lower our

With the ticket system, response times have been greatly improved. The ticket system allows
for us to consolidate all issue sources into one location. Previously things got left behind when
issues would arrive from a phone call, one from an email, and one from a face to face
conversation. The ticket system also allows for improved coordination between the IT
department, and you the user. It allows the IT department to monitor issues over a long period
of time to view and change any trends that may develop. In addition, the ticket system adds
the benefit of being accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing you with the
opportunity to seek help whenever a problem may arise.
