How many can you name?

Jeu de reconnaissance

 You need a velcro board and small flashcards

with a velcro band attached to them so they can

stick. Ask a student to come and take off

(enlève)/ put on (mets) the card representing the

word you have just pronounced.

Pratique

 With the flashcards, cut them in half and give

both parts to the children who then have to find

their other half saying the words out loud

 Quick flash : Show the flashcard quickly -

students need to say the word. Can either be

done with flashcards or on the computer

(example in the next slide

Jeu de répétition

Chaud et froid

Explanation :

Use the flashcards. Send a student outside, the

rest of the class picks a student to hide a

flashcard. Then let the student back in. To help

him / her find the flashcard, the others will say

the word softly if the student is too far away

from it, louder as soon as he / she gets closer

Jeu de reconnaissance

 Give each student a different card and name an item.

The students need to recognise the word that goes with

their card and stand up. Students then pronounce the

word

 Put all the flashcards on a whiteboard with blue tack so

they can stick. Ask 2 students to stand up and as soon

as they hear the word, they need to point / tap the

appropriate card (see powerpoint version – next slide)

Tape la carte

Jeu de pratique

 Le béret : separate the class in 2 teams. Give

each team the same cards. Name an item : the

first student who gets up with the appropriate

card gets a point for their team

can either make their own or they can draw next

to the labels (depends on their age)
