Thank you for participating in the Google 3 Party Ad Serving Certification process! 3 party vendors may
request certification for the following Google online ad properties/products:

Ad Servers for Publishers Google Publishers/Properties

 DoubleClick DART for Publishers (DFP)  Google content network (GCN)
     Google Ad Manager (GAM)

PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS AND POLICIES

DoubleClick DART for Publishers (DFP) and Google Ad Manager (GAM)

Certified vendors will be able to include editing rules for our product tools that will automatically edit their
ad tags for publishers when trafficked into our system.

Because DFP and GAM are publisher solutions, we leave it up to the publishers to establish their own
requirements and policies regarding ad specifications and content policies. The only restriction that we
have is that the creatives that are uploaded into the ad serving systems may not contain malware, which
are scanned for by our systems.

Since YouTube currently used DFP as their ad serving platform, any vendor certified for YouTube will
also be considered automatically certified for DFP.

Google Content Network (GCN) via the DoubleClick Ad Exchange
                                                                                 rd
Eligible DoubleClick Ad Exchange (AdX) buyers will be able to serve your 3 -party ad serving tags on the
Google Content Network via their AdX account upon completion of this certification. Please review the
program policies for the Google Content Network

     Ad Content Policies
           o Google Content Network
     Ad Specifications
           o Google Content Network
o Notes: GCN does not currently accept any floating, pop-up, pop-under, interstitial, or
               other out-of-banner formats.
     Ad Serving Requirements
           o Google Content Network
o Notes: All certified vendors are required to have a link to their privacy policies from the
main page of their website. The privacy policies should include information that no PII
(Personally Identifiable Information) will be collected from users. If cookies are dropped
on users from the ads, a cookie opt-out must be provided within the privacy policies as
               well.

II. Controlled Testing

DFP and GAM will traffic all test tags through each ad serving system on control test pages to check for
the following:

     Correct creative functionality  Impression/click tracking
     OS/Browser compatibility

Google will generate impressions and clicks on an internal test page and compare our reports to your ad
server’s reports. If discrepancies are below our maximum threshold for both impression and click counts,
your ad server will be considered certified for that particular Google ad serving product.

                                                                                                            2

II. Controlled Testing

The certification team will traffic all test tags through an internal test account. They will be served on
control test pages to check for the following:

     Correct creative functionality
     OS/Browser compatibility
 Impression/click tracking (Google click-tracking will be checked for functionality if supported but
not required when running actual campaigns. Validation of click tracking in the vendor’s report will
        be required, however.)

We will generate impressions and clicks on the internal test pages and compare our reports to your ad
server’s reports. If there does not appear to be any major differences between the impressions counts,
you technology will be certified for qualified AdX Buyers to buy inventory on the Google Content Network.

                                                                                                             3

Impression Filters Adify utilizes a dual pass specific identification approach
(reasons and methods to filter for filtration of robotic activity. User agents are compared
impression counts in your reports) to a list of known robot user agent strings and to a list of
known valid browser user agent strings. Any log entries
that include a known robot user agent string are
eliminated from processing as are log entries that do not
contain a valid user agent. A robots.txt file is also used on
                                          Adify servers.

Click Filters The measurement methodology is based on all click
(reasons and methods to filter click activity recorded, and does not utilize sampling for the
counts in your reports) purposes of click measurement. The click reported by
Adify, and therefore, is the subject of this DOM, is the
measurement click identified in stage 2.2 of the IAB click-
referral-cycle. That is, upon receipt of the initial click
transaction (measured click) by the Adify ad server, Adify
records the click and issues an HTTP 302 redirect to the
browser based on the location established by the
Advertisers for the specific advertisement. These
measured click events are recorded to Adify’s ad server
logs with the ad impressions. The ad sever log files are

                                                                                                          7
then accumulated, edited and compiled through fully
automated processes to produce click measurement and
                           advertiser reporting.

The counting methodology utilized is the one-click-per-
impression method. The IAB Click Guidelines define one-
click-per-impression as “the Click on a unique ad
impression (ad creative) or individual search result has
not already been counted for the session."
